and it's really really good.

Obviously I know it's not going to last. Can anyone remember at what point it got shit? I think I'm just going to stop it there and make up my own ending.

Why am I doing this to myself?!

For me it was that last series, the problem wasn't really the end I didn't think

Loads of that last series is just them traipsing about the jungle carrying torches to no real purpose.

It peaks at the episode Man Behind The Curtain for me that's the best episode in the whole series and it's never as good again.

I couldn't watch that again on principle. I stopped watching it when it moved to Sky TV, because I didn't have it, I just thank my lucky stars for that! It was getting a bit irritating by then even, was it the end of the second series I wonder. Confused

Shock are you under House Arrest or confined to bed and need to sleep?
My DH bnge watched Lost before we went on holiday a few years back, if I hear the phrase "previously on Lost" again I think I'd combust Grin

Mind you, I think the same now about The Walking Dead. I really think they should all just run into the Zombie Crowd. I told DS that Rick will have the same end as Lost but he says no . There is money riding on this in our house.

I stopped watching a few seasons in when there was more than one island. It just too stupid from then. Before that it was epic!

When I read the subject line I clicked to post "why would you do that to yourself?", but I see you are already pondering this...

I stopped watching it on TV after the first series. Then noticed a few years later that it was repeated every night at 2am so recorded it. It was when they’d gone back to the 1960s and the Dharma initiative (I think). Loved it, bought the boxed set and binge watched it. About to start watching it again but I’ll fast forward the boring bits.

I lost years of my life to it. I really enjoyed it until the last 2 series. I have never got over the ending.

I often think about Lost. Never recorded it because I wanted to see it straight away but then the overly complicated rot set in and I just couldn't be bothered anymore.
Long after it finished I tracked the last few episodes down on the net. Sorely disappointed.
I loved Sawyer.

I only watched it for Sawyer! ;)

I'm totally in love with Sawyer (again!)

Now halfway through season two and it is actually great. Really addictive.

The more I enjoy it the worse the inevitable crushing disappointment will be though wont it.

It's like I've devised a very personal and self inflicted torture.

But I do really love Sawyer so... Grin

Sawyer he actually made me swoon Blush It all went to shit when they drowned Charlie poor adorable Charlie. Then they did that fast forward/back/side ways thing so series 4. Please save yourself don't even bother watching

Ah Sawyer....
For me it went South after that scene with the rabbit, I can't remember that scary man's name but he did for me. So quite early on! Still forced myself to stay to the bitter end though. What a waste of time.
I had rather a crush on Sayid too.

It was some time in series 2/3 when JJ Abrams said they had enough material for a dozen series, and then everything slooowed down. Big mistake. It had been going so well. I stuck with it at the time, and got up to watch the finale, but was so disappointed with the ending that I gave up ideas of rewatching.

You're right @MrsJayy it was when Charlie died.

Right that will be my arbitrary end of the series.

...And then a plane came and rescued them all. The End!

I binged this last year in a couple of weeks (confined to bed). Loved it.

I know Haint. Film students should study it as an example of how to ruin TV.
