I've re-watched first three of series one. I'd forgotten just how great it is.
There are some brilliant characters. Love the son's girlfriend - she has some fab lines.
The brother's girlfriend is equally fantastic in a horrible way.
I find myself willing Michael to speak. He spends so much time just standing there. Like when she was looking for her glasses. I think he's I love with her so much he doesn't always know what to say.

I have literally just binge watched this after stumbling across it. I cannot believe I missed it originally. I have so enjoyed it; laughed out loud and to hear there’s a second series has made my day!
The portrayal of the characters is utterly splendid.

I rewatched S1 for the third time the other day and wondered/hoped there would be a S2 but didn't get around to Googling.

Feel like I'll be catching up with old friends I enjoy it so much.

Caught the first episode of series two today. How she puts up with son and girlfriend I don’t know. Both so irritating. The sil is awful too. The in laws are modelled on mine I am sure of it! Poor peter though_ he is in love and he can't seem to say anything. He is so sweet. The comments about his shirt was funny. It’s very subtle at times too. She is s saint putting up with them all.
