I enjoyed the episode. Although I like all of them. Glad joan Thursday is back.

I am a huge fan. Every character is so finely drawn. I love the music too. I am watching them all again from the beginning.

I want to love it. They’re well-written, well-produced, really high production values. But I can’t stand the guy who plays Morse. He’s so blank and his mouth is always hanging open like a goldfish.

Love it, love it. They're repeating the old ones as well on either Drama or ITV3, can't remember which.

Ooh CandyYumYum I think he has a beautiful mouth I've watched them all but can't remember why Morse is living with the other officer and not still in his flat; what i have I forgotten?

Strange explained to Thursday in the episode that he let Morse move in with him.

Not sure why but he mentioned saving money to buy a flat.

I enjoy it - they're so well written, love Roger Allam as Thursday, and it's interesting to watch how Morse begins to develop the characteristics we saw in the older man. I just worry that surely the time must come when Allam bows out and it won't be the same.

Thursday is the star as far as I'm concerned! Some of his comments and their delivery are wonderful (I'll have your cobblers for a key fob )

Also noticed how Endeavour is becoming more curmudgeonly now and developing into the older Morse.

everything I just looked up says it was supposed to start this Sunday, 11th Feb. But it sounds like the first episode was actually last week? I'll have to get it on catch-up!

Thursday is great. Roger Allam's voice is so lovely to listen to, even when he says "I'll have your cobblers for a key fob"

He was in Wreckers with Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch - it's an odd film but beautifully shot and both SE and BC are fairly menacing.

I'm struggling to get into it. Watched the first episode and it hasn't grabbed me. I was a big morse fan.

Is it this hard to watch all the way through??

I really enjoy Endeavour. With some of these programs I’m just there for the costumes and art direction and can barely stand to watch (looking at you, Father Brown). Then there’s shows like Endeavour, CTMW, and the perfect George Gently, which are wonderfully done and the look is the luscious icing.

Shaun Evans was in The Take (Martine Cole) with Tom Hardy. I watched the first episode and keen meaning to watch the rest.

I love Endeavour , when he gets hit on by various young women and declines them , he will kick himself as older Morse when he doesn't get a look in !

I watched the first episode tonight and enjoyed it. But found it hard to understand what they were saying a lot of the time - even if I turned the volume up. Seemed mumbly.

I also don't like how things are too confusing at the beginning and I can't recognise who is who, and then towards the end they speed up too fast and they suddenly solve everything without giving the audience enough of a clue/explanation.

Certain parallels to real-life events brought up by a couple of comments; wonder how far the associations are meant to be taken. Don't want to say more in case of spoilers.
