Just seen a bit of Chris tarrant right now on James Martin’s Saturday kitchen and he seems a bit pissed, has anyone else noticed?

If it's live- he was just convicted of drink driving this week.

He is a mess!

He is being a total arse isn't he. He really isn't as funny as he thinks he is.

Yes it’s live I think and the Mercedes into a tree has been mentioned! It’s the slurring and off humour that’s making me feel embarrassed for him!

It's pre recorded which makes me wonder how much they had to cut/re do due to him.
On a side note, I'm not sure if I would want to try 6 month old shark 😝

Oh I’m surprised they didn’t scrap it completely!

He's acting like a cantankerous pissed old bloke.

I'd just watched this and Tarrant was doing head in, I thought he was being a right dick to that other chef, especially when he kept grabbing his head and shouting at him

I also wondered if it was live after hearing of his drink driving fine the other day

He hasn't been funny since his Tizwaz days. But then I was younger then too and appreciated his infantile humour.

He is your archetypal dickheaded arrogant entitled dinosaur

I didn't think he was pissed, but his behaviour made me cringe so much. I only saw the jam role-ploy section, but that was enough.

There was a similar programme last Sunday (I think, the one with Simon Rimmer on it) with Suggs from Madness on it

He wasn't obnoxious but looked just a bit too high for a Sunday lunchtime and bordering on OTT behaviour. Too loud, too try hard, too much

Cringey to watch

I just noticed my autocorrect! Jam roly-poly, obvs.

DH and me were glued to the whole show!! I did feel sorry for the other guy who was obviously Chris’s verbal punchbag for the whole of the show! I thought he deserved a medal for taking it all so well.
I think it’s just Chris being Chris. I had a DF and have a BIL that are as in your face as this, so I’ve become quite immune to this kind of...erm...humour Hmm

When he was on This Morning a while back, I didn't feel he was fully recovered from his stroke. Could that be it?

I thought he was a bully to be honest, doing that it's only a joke crap. Came over as a complete idiot, don't know how that Icelandic chef didnt force feed him the shark.
