Did anyone watch it? Couldn't find a thread.

Chilling premise. Too violent for me but will still watch. Thought it was well acted.

Trying to think how I would react if I'd seen what was on the flash drive....

Thought it was quite good. Will definitely watch the rest of it.
Not sure what I'd do either...

It was good but bloody hell I'm depressed now! I hope his wife and daughter are ok Sad I'm sitting here with dh discussing what we'd do if we knew we had five years Sad

Excellent acting. The only actor I recognised was Aisling Bea and only know her as a comedian. Like the London setting but it's a very quiet London!

Interesting, but too violent. Unsure if I'll watch again as trailer looked like more violence again rather than focus on story. Put it this way, I'm not watching the next episode on I player right now, I would be if it had been good.

I liked it. Funny about the too violent comments. I can't watch anything with gratuitous violence but found that ok (Because it was matched to the story line.)

I liked it. Agyness Deyn was good.

I'm on episode 3! Damn BBC iplayer for putting the whole series on.

I'm enjoying it. Hick's mockney accent is dodgy though.

Watched episode 1tonight while doing the ironing (exciting life eh?)
But now I'm in bed it's episode 2 for me on the iplayer, though it will probably give me nightmares.

Saw it by chance, had no idea about subject matter as hadn't seen any trailers. Thought it was going to be along the same lines as Line of Duty to begin with so not sure how I feel about it now I know where it's going, thought it was bloody well done though.

I saw part of a trailer for this. I didn’t realise it had started. Even better that the whole thing is up.
I have no idea what it is about but I was looking forward to seeing it

It was gripping, but the violence in it was relentless.
really good acting - especially the main woman in it.

I said to dh last night, if any of this were true the government would have to keep it a huge secret - could you imagine if that got out? complete anarchy, nobody would bother with working it's too big a thing to think about really!

It's a combination of everything I love in a TV drama (violence aside). Thought Agnes Deyn very good indeed (not ever seen in her act in anything else). Tempted to watch it all on IPlayer...

I watched it. I enjoyed it. Will watch the next one. It's a bit different to the normal bbc stuff. The violence didn't bother me tbh I think I've watched prime and Netflix for so long now and their dramas tend to be a lot more graphic so you get used to the violence. Will be interested to see how this plays out.

I quite liked it. It reminded me a little of Spooks, but without the split-screen gimmicery. And I love anything to do with a possible ELE.

Agnes Deyn is so good. I always wondered what happened to her.

Havent watched this yet but Drama showed an episode of New Tricks recently which had a similar premise. The episode is called The Queens Speech.

Watched it all the way through, wanted to like it, but ended up feeling that I didn't really care what was going to happen and I don't really want to devote any more time to it. And that woman's lips annoy me.

I binge watched all six episodes yesterday. I can see that it's obviously been set up to run for several series. Problem is that the BBC might pull the plug before our heroes actually save the day (assuming that they will).

The 'Hard Sun' references throughout kind of reminded me of the 'Bad Wolf' (might have got it wrong) ones that permeated several series of Dr Who (in the David Tennant era).

I was trying to encourage my older teen to watch it but I think he was put off by the violence in episode one.

And it's quite a heavy going watch in terms of having to pay very close attention to every scene to keep up with who is siding with whom...

bash, she does have odd shaped lips - but a lovely figure, i would love to be that thin! i can imagine you have to pay attention , i am a bit bad at following things like this sometimes and then tend to lose the thread a bit.

Overall I enjoyed it but thought the storyline was a bit thin and far fetched in places.

I'm finding these shows all a bit samey now.

I agree Agyness Deyn was excellent.

Up to episode five now and think it's very good. DH not so keen, because of the violence (not sure what that says about me Confused), I think it is violent, but fits with the story.
Do have to concentrate to keep up with what's going on, and don't trust'' any of the characters IYKWIM.
Love the chief spook actor, she's completely chilling and amoral. She scares the shit out of me.
However I thought there was a massive plot hole in an episode I watched last night, but I'm not spoilering this thread by mentioning it. Grin. Bearing in mind one has to suspend belief to accept the main storyline anyway.

It just makes me think ' what if?' really - if something like that got out in the open ( and happened to be true) how much our lives would change and all for the worse as well ( as if things are not bad enough at times)kids wouldnt go to school, people would riot and loot everything, people wouldnt go to work maybe, they wouldnt see the point of anything much. It would be carnage!
