I watched the one where they were cooking for the Queen but I can't watch Jennie Bond. I do love the pretentious food critics though - surely they're the best bit?

Love watching it and have already been to one of the suppliers featured!!
Jennie Bond adds nothing to it though. Can see why she did the first one, royal correspondant and all that but it needs someone who doesn't shamelessly flirt and simper all the time, it drives me nuts.

Hurrah, I knew you must be out there somewhere. Since the first series I have developed an unfortunate Peytonesque habit of leaning over any dish presented to me and inhaling deeply, which makes me looks like a freak in restaurants. I also accidentally said "I'm just plating up" to tell DP that dinner was ready.

Jenny is dreadful, she is continually saying how much the chef's are in battle against each other. It is a cookery contest ffs woman!

Some of the food looks yummy, some I wouldn't feed my dog! And he eats his own poo on occassion.

i love it - i watch it when dh puts kids to bed. friday is best though - more judging and less jennie i think

Oh, I like Jennie, she's kind of entertaining. Friday's definitely best, much less repetitive than the rest of the week and I love the judges. I also love the way Jennie emphasises the word judges every time she says it.

I watch it despite myself - I HATE the script possibly even more than I hate Jennie Bond, and much preferred Masterchef. But it coincides with last bf before bed, and so, despite myself I am getting addicted. And I thought Jeremy Lee was great, he needs his own series!

I only watch Friday's show as there's so much bl**dy waffling and repetition otherwise. Thoroughly enjoy it though

I actually like the repetition, it's kind of soothing. So happy that Atul is on it this week, him beating that awful Rhodes boy made the first series for me, I so hope he wins again. DP and I went to Benares to celebrate our anniversary last year, it was lovely. And his fish this time looks fab, I love mushy peas.
