Del falling through the bar in only fools.

PantPlot · 12/12/2017 19:34

Sam Fox getting stuck in her own Halloween cape in the classic itv reality show 'The Club'

I know, highbrow right?

I don't even know if the clip exists any more but I don't think anything will ever top it for me Grin

The woman talking to the alien in game for a laugh

Bubbington · 12/12/2017 19:39

Blackaddder goes Forth: Final scene in the final episode, originally shown on Remembrance weekend. Upsets me everytime and was quite shocking as I had not expected it

Heratnumber7 · 12/12/2017 19:41

The elephant having a wee on Blue Peter.
Or the Berlin Wall coming down.
Or the first moon landing.

Probably the moon landing.

Bella912 · 12/12/2017 19:42

Without a doubt .... Ross..... tanning booth... I'm a 8!!!!! Never fails to have me howling

PorklessPie · 12/12/2017 19:45

Only fools and horses time on our hands when they walk into the nags head and everyone claps. Or the office second part Christmas special when dawn and Tim get together.

abouttimeforanotherone · 12/12/2017 19:46

Two really, the final scene in Blackadder Goes Forth, and David Attenborough and those gorillas.

PantPlot · 12/12/2017 19:47

Yay the Sam Fox clip exists

shakemysilliesout · 12/12/2017 19:50

Rebecca loose and the pig

shakemysilliesout · 12/12/2017 19:52

Or maybe the guy on BBC news accidently being interviewed when he'd turned up for another off screen job

coffeeclub · 12/12/2017 19:52

Torvill and Dean performing bolero.

Autumnchill · 12/12/2017 19:53

Vicar of Dibley jumping in a puddle

Unemfuckingployable · 12/12/2017 19:57

Basil Fawlty beating up the car.

NotCitrus · 12/12/2017 20:00

Seconding the end of Blackadder Goes Forth.
Just pips David Attenborough and the stuffed cheetah and learning chimpanzee for 'WTF???!!!'

Latenightreader · 12/12/2017 20:01

After the Herald of Free Enterprise sank a woman and her husband were being interviewed by the BBC. They had been traveling with their daughter and son in law, both missing. As they were talking, shocked, wrapped in blankets, the news came through that they were both alive. Makes me cry thinking about it, heard it on the radio a few years ago but haven't found the clip.

PuppyMonkey · 12/12/2017 20:01

JR getting shot in Dallas.

Mrs Doyle in Father Ted delivering this classic: "Are you sure Father? There's cocaine in it!". Cracks me up every time without fail!

CountessofGrantham · 12/12/2017 20:15

Torvill and Dean and Bolero definitely.

EvilRingahBitch · 12/12/2017 21:14

John Redwood sings the Welsh national anthem. For sheer hilarity it’s unbeatable.

Actually in terms of the TV clip I’ve watched the most it would be either Jay McGuiness dances the jive or Spike and Buffy demolish the house Blush.

QuiteUnfitBit · 12/12/2017 21:18

This shows my age. I was going for the SAS, or Torvill and Dean, but they've gone already. Grin
So I'll go for Raquel being taught French by Ken Barlow, which, with the help of Wikipedia, I can quote:

Raquel: "I met a French man in Corfu who taught me how to say isn't it a lovely day today."
Ken: "Right, let's put a sentence together. I want you to say to me in French 'Hello Ken. My name is Raquel. Isn't it a lovely day today?'
Raquel: "Ooh, clever. Right, here goes. Bonjour Ken. Je m'appelle Raquel. Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir?"

Evil actually I'll think I'll change mine to the first time I saw the Argentine Tango with Flavia and Vincent. I remember rewinding again and again as it was mesmerising

Thurlow · 12/12/2017 21:40

Derek Redmond being helped over the finish line by his dad. Makes me well up just thinking about it.

But then the last offering the alien a cup of tea is pretty genius Grin

Many years ago on That's Life Esther Rantzen told the story of Nicholas Winton who had saved many Jewish children during the war. He had kept it secret all his life. His wife had found out and told That's Life. He didn't know they would tell his story when he came to watch the show. When Esther had told his story she showed Nicholas Winton to the audience. She then told him that he was sitting amongst the grown up children whom he had saved. He cried. They cried. Esther cried. I cried. I'm welling up as I write this. He was such a brave unassuming man and had kept his heroic actions secret.
