I know it's early- but I've got a football packed morning with dd1. If it's not postponed. And I saw the song choices last night- so have been itching to share them. My bingo card has some crosses on it Grin.

Overs
Kevin Davy White
Fastlove Pt 1

Matt Linnen
Careless Whisper

Boys
Sam Black
I'm Your Man

Lloyd Macey
A Different Corner

Groups
The CutKelvins
Killer / Papa Was A Rollin' Stone

Jack & Joel
The Edge Of Heaven

Rak-Su
Faith

Sean & Conor
Freedom '90

Girls

Grace Davies
I Can't Make You Love Me

Holly Tandy
One More Try

Rai-Elle Williams
They Won't Go When I Go

Alisah Bonaobra
Praying For Time

I don't mind 'Edge of Heaven' too much for J and J- it could have been much worse.
Am very surprised at the choice for the Cutkelvins. At the beginning of the series, I thought they were one of the favourites, but Simon doesn't seem to be giving them much, and they are increasingly becoming the sister , with backing.

And BINGO! 'I can't make you love me' I can't stand that song- and it's Grace singing it- which means they really want her to win. it's such a favourite on these shows.

I think Rat Soup doing 'Faith' rather than Sam , means Sam is going home.

And hopefully, the title of Sobby's song is an omen Grin

There are rumours that the quadruple elimination won't happen now. Which is good in a way, as it would probably have left us with Grace and Rat Soup for the next 4 weeks .

So- I'm off to check if dd1's football has been postponed, and then i need to sort out snacks for later. Grin

Slightly disappointed that no-one is doing I Want Your Sex.

Ah well, there's always the chance of a wildcard act!! 😂

Snacks & wine have been purchased. See you all later WineCake

I'm checking in for later, I am armed with snacks and Wine

Raahh I think you're right, sobby's song is an omen Grin
Typical they gave Grace that song..

It will be interesting to hear Rat soup sing a song that isn't their own.

The song Matt is singing too is just typical, they just want all the ladies to fall in love with him.

I saw Tracy Leanne go, thank the lord, that song from last week was a travesty and my ears are only just getting over it. Shame I couldn't be online reading all your comments about it Grin

See, the other problem with splitting the categories over two nights is look what happens now( assuming they are not all singing tonight).

The boys/ overs only have 2 acts left each. So that would make a very short showGrin

But I can't seem to find anywhere that says whether they are split. Or going back to the old format. And if so- what happens about the amazing prize??Grin

I said on the last thread, the thought of Tracey Leanne doing George in her horrible fake Amy Winehouse affected voice would have made me throw things at the tv. So I am very relieved she left.

Of course, we have Seen and Conor the mumble chums , who Simon thinks so much of, to warn me incoherently through Freedom. So, we will still suffer.

It seems like they haven't thought the new format through properly!
Unless they just drop the prizes etc and go back to the old format when they have no choice.

I am watching Strictly and wondering what the agenda is this year, really.
They seem hell bent on really crushing the spirits of some of the celebs. I really don't like Shirley at all.

I don't like Shirley either Raahh I feel for Mollie, her confidence has been knocked to shreds.
Alexandra.com did well again, looks like she's heading to win.

Interesting choice for Rai-Elle. That song gives me goosebumps when sung by George. I hope she does it well.

I have a problem with Burke.com. They seem to be treating her like the winner already, the way they did right from the beginning on X Factor. It bugs me.

I think Mollie got grief, indirectly, because of the whole Aston backlash, which is really unfair. She looked so upset. Sad

Noisy I love it too. It's my favourite on the album. It's an amazing song.

And when Stevie Wonder himself played it at the Michael Jackson memorial, I was in bitSad.
