It tackles some brilliant issues, is sensitive and thoughtful as well hilarious!

DW and I have had a really difficult few months. Jane the Virgin was our safe place, away from shitty people in real life.

At the other end of the spectrum of TV, we love Mindhunters at the moment. The story of the beginning of BAU in the FBI, a la Criminal Minds. The glorious Jonathan Goff stars in it to add to the joy.

You mean Price Hans of the Southern Isles? Though other than Crazy Ex-girlfriend and Frozen Santino Fontana is a pretty huge Broadway Star and I've gotten the impression he doesn't enjoy working in tv shows as much as on stage doesn't want to commit long-term to one. I loved him, I Could if I Wanted To and I Gave You a UTI were my favourite songs ever on the show.

I was a bit disappointed in the newest episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but yes it is generally one of the sharpest, funniest, darkest shows on TV (although I also miss Greg). I love that Rachel Bloom and her co-creator really understand that it isn't and never has been about who Rebecca "ends up" with.

Yes I am watching series 4 on Netflix, it is available! Not all at once like it used to be though, it's a new episode every week.

There's an episode of the guilty feminist podcast with Rachel Bloom where she talks about the sexism she experienced while progressing into comedy which is really interesting. I love the feminist slant on the show because it's just so different to other shows that are completely uncritical in their gender stereotyping (big bang theory).

I've seen that the good place is on Netflix but haven't tried it yet so thanks for the recommendation!

Really enjoyed the first series of My Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Second series was good but not quite as fresh and different as the first

They are both trumped by Schitt's Creek though which is funny and clever

I’m also a fan of Schitt’s Creek. Daniel Levy is wonderful and I’ve been a fan of Eugene Levy and Chatherine O’Hara since I was a kid and first saw them on Second City.
