I like the look of it but I'd have thought Sunday night was a more obvious night for it. I suppose they probably don't want to clash with Victoria.

Yes, will give it a go. I like a bit of quasi-historical nonsense.

Too gory for a 12 and 14 year old? DC are keen to watch!

Thanks BitOutOfPractice - that doesn't look hopeful. I have had my eye out for some good drama for us all to watch together - looks like this isn't it.

It’s quite late for me so I’m recording and watching at Victoria time. Really looking forward to it Grin

No, it doesn't look like a normal BBC Sunday evening drama does it? Might be worth watching the first one yourself and seeing what it's like before traumatising the kids for life! Grin

Bit I'll be watching it with mil and she has a very low tolerance for violence and 'filth' - I'm not sure if she will last a whole episode - she can be my guinea pig! Grin

Agree Saturday night seems an odd slot for this. I’m looking forward to it though.

No definitely not.

I like historical drama but this does not end well and I don't like watching gruesome things
