Just watched the pilot episode, thought it looks promising.

I've just binge watched 2 seasons in 2 days... Really enjoyable watch!

Clayhead Tue 17-Oct-17 23:05:21

Loved it!

It beats Modern Family hands down. Its a shame its not getting the viewers. It was nearly cancelled.

What channel?

VeganIan Wed 18-Oct-17 20:30:27

I thought it was brilliant, on the whole.

EachandEveryone Wed 18-Oct-17 21:52:15

Amazon Prime. It’s fantastic.

eleflump Wed 18-Oct-17 21:55:45

It's on Comedy Central on Sky as well, after the Middle on Tuesday nights at 9.30 - first episode was this week.

I need some thing similar to watch now sad

Tried casual and parks of recreation but can't get into them.

EachandEveryone Mon 30-Oct-17 21:31:23

I loved Casual. Did you try Transparent? Not a comedy as such but it’s about family.

2014newme Tue 31-Oct-17 10:29:15

Watched all the seasons I like it

Lunaballoon Tue 31-Oct-17 13:14:32

We love it too. I can't remember which season we're on, but it regularly fills the gap for us when there's bugger all on the main channels.

EachandEveryone Tue 31-Oct-17 18:46:08

There’s only two seasons new one starts this week

SemperTemper Tue 31-Oct-17 18:47:31

Binged watched it too. Very enjoyable!

I loved Life in Pieces and also found it funnier than Modern Family. Frenchfancy - it might be worth giving Parks & Recreations another go. I tried a couple of times and couldn't get into it but then my son (13) wanted to watch it so I gave it another go. It's hands-down been the most enjoyed programme in our house for a long time. It does improve after the first few episodes & the characters are very likeable.

PickleSarnie Tue 31-Oct-17 18:56:18

The new season starts on Nov 3rd I think. It's shown on terrestrial TV in the US so you have to wait for a new episode each Friday. Which at least will stop me bingeing

EachandEveryone Wed 01-Nov-17 08:49:56

I think it’s a shame it’s not available on dvd it would be a great Xmas gift. I can’t imagine any of them going down the surgery route like Modern Family. The grandpa is so handsome!

Andylion Wed 01-Nov-17 18:10:11

Grandpa is James Brolin, married to Barbra Streisand.
And I agree. I remember him from Marcus Welby when I just a kid.

Worked my way through to series 3 and love it. The rivalry between Matt and Greg is hilarious. And Tim heather' s husband 😂. Sophia is brilliant.
