I find watching interesting TV series helps me get through the days/evenings since developing a chronic illness and after death of my son.
I enjoyed THMT, Dr Foster, Cold Feet, Poldark.
I also used to like Morse, Agatha Christie's Marple, and similar.
Some days I concentrate better than others.
I would appreciate some recommendations on Iplayer/catch up/all4 or Netflix.
TIA

Sorry about your DSFlowers

Have you watched Line of Duty, first 2 series are on Netflix, also are you watching a Liar, it’s on at the moment on ITV and I should think that previous episodes are on catch up

Thank you.
I will try both of those.
Anything that occupies my mind is very helpful.

I have watched Lilyhammer on Netflix which I loved - it’s a crime drama where a NY mobster is relocated to Norway.
The scenery is fantastic 🙂 and their simple way of life is s total change to him.

Sorry about your son Flowers

Have you watched House?

The Night manager is meant to be good, it's on my list after rewatching House.

I'm just watching The Crown on Netflix. It's soapy in the best way –ie it's about the twists and turns of lives and relationships –but obviously with the added layer of it being the Royal Family.

Wonderful production values, top-drawer acting, glorious 50s clobber, cars, interiors etc. I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks all.
I have days when I have pain or can't do much so sometimes it is nice to just get absorbed in something.

Sorry for your loss Flowers

Peaky Blinders is another good series - but a bit violent in parts.
I also enjoyed Mr Selfridge.

I've really enjoyed liar on it. Brilliant and last episode this week . Very well done. If you want Some light relief try first dates on channel 4. Always makes me smile. Dr foster was good but a bit dark. The last post on bbc 1 is good too. Hope you find something to enjoy

Mindhunter has just landed on Netflix. I find it very hard to get into stuff but this is great.

It is about the FBI and how they developed serial killer profiling so it's dense and gruesome which may not be what you want at the moment but it's really absorbing and I love the acting.

It's the same kind of thing as masters of sex but about murderers.
