Love this. Don't know how the cast manage to keep a straight face. Yes, absolutely, yes. Grin

LineysRun · 18/09/2017 22:42

Yes, I loved it. The Lineker and Shearer appearances were fab. And, as ever, Tennant's voiceover.

Cakescakescakes · 18/09/2017 22:42

Our local council leisure centre is now managed by a third party company called 'Better'. Makes me smile every time I go in.

mumdebump · 18/09/2017 23:16

I love W1A. Absolutely spot on with the characters & meetings.

Andylion · 19/09/2017 04:04

I've seen the first two series on Netflix. Is there a third?

Walnutwhiplash · 19/09/2017 06:41

Love Lineker's tweetGrin
Andy first two eps of S3 are on iplayer

CanIBuffalo · 19/09/2017 06:42

Vair strong.

Timefortea99 · 19/09/2017 06:46

To me this is a factual documentary about how the BBC is run! Not a comedy, I bet this is an exaggerated version of what goes on. It is hilarious. The camera operators work overtime too, cutting from one person to another to capture their inane remarks in quick succession. I don't know how the actors hold it together.

mumdebump · 19/09/2017 08:22

Andylion series 3 started last night on BBC2. I only found out by chance. Hadn't seen any trailers or publicity for it, unlike for all the other rubbish the BBC is constantly promoting ( I'm looking at you Rellik). Perhaps they don't want people to watch it and see how dysfunctional they are. Grin

YesVeryGoodVeryStrong · 19/09/2017 08:27

Cakes that is fab.

I know time I would love to see the outtakes!

I read an interview with the actress who plays Izzy and she said the guy who plays Will always has his lines exactly right, which is quite impressive when it's basically just variations of "ok cool yeah no worries yeah fine" Grin So easily mixed up!

They probably yearn to do some Shakespeare soliloquies afterwards.

Love this programme so much - was such a bonus to see it on again last night! Anna is my absolute favourite - "no I don't want that"

ellenanora5 · 19/09/2017 10:47

Oh yeah, absolutely, good point, indeed, cool, we need to involve everyone though, oh yeah sure, what about Colin, who's Colin, em Colin, oh yes Colin of course, love Colin, now that's not me saying that it's coming from the top Grin

It cracks me up, for some reason I always laugh at the foldaway bikes, don't know why but think it's because of the first episode Smile

triplesalco · 19/09/2017 10:55

Timefortea99

As an exBBC employee, it's a factual and very accurate depiction of how everything is decided.

PutABirdOnIt · 19/09/2017 11:04

Looking forward to catching up with this later - I loved the first couple of series.

If anyone hasn't already seen 2012, it's more or less the same cast, same idea re. the 2012 Olympics and I think it's even funnier. Star

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/09/2017 11:58

Oh I loved the first two series! Didn't realise it was back for a third - they kept that quiet Hmm

Thanks OP. I'll track it down on iplayer.

Whitegrenache · 19/09/2017 13:41

Oh I love this! And yes I only discovered it was back in when I used iPlayer today to catch up on dr foster.

As well as being reflective of the BBC, I think it is also reflective of bloody coporate meetings and manager type speak!

Timefortea99 · 19/09/2017 19:23

Triple - as I feared!

Optimist1 · 19/09/2017 19:27

So excited that this is back, and the third series seems to be every bit as good as the previous two. Quality stuff, and great that the BBC can produce something that's taking the piss out of the BBC. Love it.

GemmaCollinsBabes · 19/09/2017 21:06

I#ve never enjoyed MOTD more! Grin

Love, love this show! didn't realise it was back on until I gasped at the tv planner and DH had recorded it last night 😁

Andylion · 19/09/2017 22:34

I hope it comes to Netflix Canada soon.

I love how Anna "yes, absolutely, yes" automatically, even when they're not in a meeting Grin

Perfect Curve obviously haven't been doing enough promo if no one realised it was back on!

ShotsFired · 20/09/2017 08:44

Yes brilliant.

Yes.

Yes.

SpringBreak · 20/09/2017 08:48

It makes me weep with laughter. I have been wandering around broadcast house trying to get into meeting rooms enough times, just like last night's (there was once a maintenance team going around with a scraper removing any of the transfers on the glass walls of Jimmy Saville)
