Me. So much so that I swallowed my pride and asked DSS how you're meant to use series link on the Sky box.

Ok, so having watched the first three episodes I deduced the following;

Agent Cooper has been possessed by Bob for 25 years and has been responsible for the murder of the woman discovered dead in episode 1 even though another guy has been arrested. The real agent Cooper has been told by Laura Palmer it's time for him to go back.

I always felt that AC was able to solve crimes because of his psychic sensitivity but this also made him vulnerable to be possessed by Bob.

But who is Dougie? The 'manufactured' version?

That black case thing has a link to the red room obviously.

Who was that lady in the spaceship thing who pulled the leaver?

Can I watch this without having seen the original twin peaks?

In a word no I'm afraid! It's a highly complex plot but you can see the first two series on sky box set I believe.

mozzchops - no! Sorry! I re watched series 1 recently and am going to have to pay for series 2! I remember watching each episode as it happened in the late 80s. It was eerie rewatching series 1. But god was Kyle Macachlan good looking!

Yes! I watched eps 1-2 from 2am, then eps 3-4 as soon as the kids were at school and nursery. At first was a bit Hmm about the jumping about of plots, all the new characters, and only short glimpses of the old 'team'... But on reflection (and paraphrasing what Kyle Maclachlan said) this is not a jolly feel good reunion. I think David Lynch did it perfectly... It is more surreal, but it kind of has to be in 2017 to be relevant. Yes things have moved on, but life does after 25 years, and we would never have believed BOB would have stayed in Twin Peaks for 25 years, or the evil Cooper could have stayed.

I really like the whole 'Lucy and the mobile phone' thing.. A nod to the fact there was no mobiles when the original twin peaks came out, and how some people were going to find it hard to move with the times!

Lottie do you mean Ronette Pulaski? She was the girl on the sofa in the metal box after the girl with no eyes pulled the lever and fell off. I was surprised to see her, but like that she was also included in this new series.

Forgot to mention earlier, also was very moved by the Log Lady's scenes. I knew she died soon after filming, but didn't think she would be so weak on the show ☹️

987 Apparently you can get it on NowTV? But otherwise it's Sky.

I thought i would get away without watching series 1 and 2 again but i didn't have a clue. I don't even remember who Bob is Blush

I found the end really nostalgiac and melancholic but just because of the music. Having searched for the song on YouTube I've found via the comments that all the old characters were at the roadhouse! I didn't pick up on the names at the time. The thing with lynch is it's hard to decipher which parts are relevant and which parts are crazy shit! Plus i was half asleep.

Disappointed by the lack of the original music but i really enjoyed it overall. Don't know how I'm going to squeeze in the other series before the next one Grin

It's very Eraserhead (well the bit with the glass box) and the background hum. Tbh, I have very little clue what the hell is going on as dh is being a pain in the arse talking.
