I'm really looking forward to the new series tomorrow! Just watched the last two of the first series - I'll be interested to see how it pans out, as I'm not too sure how it will work 'outside' of the car....! It's one of the few comedy shows that makes me laugh, and it's got a lovely 'gentle' feel to it (or maybe I'm just getting a bit old and soppy....)

Anyone else?

Looking forward to it too!

I agree about the 'old fashioned' quality, it has a kind of innocence about it that I love, but then I prefer understated subtle humour to the Mrs Brown's crude stuff. Am getting old!

Can't wait! Do we think they're "in a relationship" now? Hope so, they're so cute together.

We are watching the last two too. DH thinks they'll be an item. I'm not convinced.

Didn't know there was a new series starting! Really enjoyed the first one smile

New series you say? Tomorrow?

yay!!!!

Chorley FM, coming in yer ears!

frazzled3ds Mon 10-Apr-17 22:21:07

I would like to think they end up together - the subtlety of the attraction growing through the first series was great, that sort of wistful longing type thing, particularly in the last episode. They make such a lovely couple!

Yes new series tomorrow at 9pm and then apparently the whole series will be available straightaway on iplayer - will I be able to resist watching it all?!

Nellyphants Tue 11-Apr-17 20:15:09

I thought they had ended up together! I really enjoyed the last series, very sweet & I don't usually like sweet

I watched the last two of the last series last night. It's so nicely done. Gentle and funny, pure and simple.

OMG thank you! I love car share, please let it be as good as the first series. I had a huge crush on Kay but thats over now.

I keep location spotting. Can't help it. I could tell where Kayleigh was straight away.

TyneTeas Tue 11-Apr-17 21:08:29

Watching it now grin

That was so good!

Right, I'm off over to iPlayer for the next episode

That was fab!!

BikeRunSki Tue 11-Apr-17 21:31:45

Guy Garvey!!

I loved that. At the beginning, I thought John was driving over to Kayleigh's bus stop.

Just commented on the other thread. I love this. They are so 'real' in comparison to other tv characters.

Chillyegg Tue 11-Apr-17 21:41:07

Awwee such a lovely series. I think they will end up together.

minxthemanx Tue 11-Apr-17 21:45:06

Absolute class. What cracking performances, and what great humour.

Muddlingalongalone Tue 11-Apr-17 21:47:01

Great - such a simple concept with a fab soundtrack.
Love Peter Key though - first time I saw him on TV doing stand up I swore he'd grown up in my house.

frazzled3ds Tue 11-Apr-17 22:02:53

Couldn't resist hopping onto iplayer.... second episode under way!

Bedsheets4knickers Tue 11-Apr-17 22:10:02

Agghhh how brillant was that. I'm going to have to stop myself from staying up all night watching the rest. Loved the bike incident.
