Really hope they can stay on form for the next two series. That and a third series of Highlander to look forward to ... joy 😊

That should take us through to the end of The Angry Tide, which is where the original BBC series ended. It will be interesting to see what they do after that, considering the time jump of around 12 years before the next novel The stranger from the sea, starts.

That's interesting, Sunny. Does the next novel go back to the same characters or is it more like a new generation of people?

I wasn't really into Poldark at first, but loved the last series; it finally felt like a proper romance, really sweeping and powerful.

It is more or less the same characters, but the children from the earlier novels have grown up andc play quite a large role in proceedings.

That sounds good. Currently I feel that the children aren't much more than occasional props. grin
