Anyone watching this?

Those poor children who lost their family members. What a fantastic idea to bring them together to talk about their loss with others who know exactly how it feels.

Nobody else watching it?

It's tragic hearing their stories but I'm imagining that it's v beneficial for them. It seems to obvious really ie bringing together kids who have that shared experience - you wonder why it hasn't been done for yrs? (or has it??)

This is a tough watch. Am in tears - those little girls. How can they not be so damaged?

The way these children forgive and love their parents for these awful crimes is very humbling.

I'm watching it - truly very sad.

How awful if you found one of your children killed their partner. That poor woman who was talking about that. Horrific. I'm not sure why it was manslaughter, though.

Adult or child, Danni? Were you aware of what had happened?

My dad met a pretty violent death when I was 2. It was barely spoken about and i still have unresolved issues about it. I wish there had been something like this then. My mother still won't speak about him 50 years on. This is such an amazing thing.

Str4ngedaysindeed, is there anyone you can talk to about your dad? Do you know what happened? (I'm not asking you to put that on here, just wondering whether you actually know.)

I've got it on now on plus 1, it is just a devastating thing for kids to have to go through, it breaks my heart thinking of what these poor children have witnessed and experienced but i'm glad that they are getting this help to work through the thoughts, feelings and emotions.

I do know and have had some sporadic conversations with various members of his family but it's all had to be done in secret sort of thing and to be honest they are almost all dead now as well! It's a very sad and complicated situation which I guess I have got used to now. Seeing children so brilliantly supported nowadays is just so wonderful

The charity is called winstons wish, not Williams just in case someone is trying to find it. Great programme, what brave families not only opening up about their stories but on camera too.

I sobbed all the way through, what a lot to have to deal with so young, but what an incredible resource for these families, they are doing great work.

I have tried to watch this today on all4 catch up but it's not available, does anyone have any idea how else I could watch this??

I haven't watched it yet but my friends sister was murdered by her husband (he then tried to kill the dc) and she now has custody of her nieces whilst their Dad rots in prison. The trauma, pain and absolutely devastation is horrific. In one weekend those children lost their Mum and Dad, so so sad.

Very moving.

The two sets of girls where dad had murdered mum were particularly awful. I have no idea how as a family member, you could even begin to untangle children's feelings about that.

I hope Lily and Leah's contact with their dad is on their terms as they grow up.
