about the fact that they are going to be showing 'Trumpton' on Nick Jr classics from next week. Told dd that she has got to watch it with me!!! She probably won't be impressed - but I can't wait to relive my childhood!!! How sad am I?

Now, was the song 'Time goes by when you're the driver of a train, and I ride on the footplate there and back again...' (I could go on -but I won't bore you!!) from Trumpton, or was that Chigley, or possibly Camberwick Green??? They have all kind of merged into one in my memory!!

Hmm. could be Chigley - didn't it collect stuff from the factory? How sad are we - no-one else has joined this thread

awwwwwwww I love trumpton , I told dd1 I used to watch these when a little one and she seemed quite impressed !

I want them to show flumps again too !!!!

ahhhh didnt think of doing it on sky + for dd1 !!! Although its full of peppa pig right now.

Have just asked my fount of all knowledge (my DH) and it is definitely Chigley and I am very sad as we don't have sky so won't be able to watch Trumpton

and at the end of one of them, they used to go and watch people dancing in the town square at the end of every episode....oh and which one started, 'Here is a box, a musical box..'
