Did anyone watch? Wondering what others thought of tonight's show. It was all a bit... odd. There wasn't much conversation. Just the 3 guests all ... I don't know... loving each other!

Thought Patrick Stewart came across lovely. He really is handsome- never noticed that before!

I don't know... it just seemed a bit like it never really started or something. They were all too busy telling how much they loved and admired each other!

I thought it was brilliant, one of the best chat shows I've watched for ages. I loved the bit where Graham turned round, did a double take at the audience and said "Oh! people!"

Imagine a night out with that lot!

Sir patrick is very handsome i saw him and sir Ian in a play last year and they did a Q & A at the end I was a bit starstruck

Yeah the movie looks great.
Disjointed is a good word. It usually seems to flow much better with better stories and conversation.

Hate that it's the end of the season- it's my favourite thing at the end of working week sitting down with my wine and watching.

And they need more women guests- it's noticeable to me how few they have on

Oh, I thought it was so funny. As good as the Matt Damon/Hugh Bonneville/Bill Murray episode for me. Really good chemistry and Graham, as host, just let it flow in a way, e.g., Jonathan Ross would never do.

Really Starlings?? The bill Murray and high bonneville was pretty much the best tv I've ever seen.... wouldn't equate this show tonight at all!!

Although you do make a good point about GN letting it go without butting in all the time like other hosts would. He's great at that. And I suppose they were legends up there so he probably was enjoying it all himself to see them laughing and chatting together

I just felt it never really took off

We don't normally watch it but did cos of the line up and thought it was brilliant. I can't imagine anyone being able to make those three behave haha.
Jane Blunt was a bit random

Oh yes the Maggie smith was good.

James blunt- imagine sitting up beside those 3! But he did well. And I liked his funny tweets. Showed a great sense of humour I thought...

I met Patrick Stewart through a work thing. He was utterly charming and had that real skill of making everyone he talked feel special. I was also really impressed by the way he treated everyone the same - regardless of their importance / seniority.

James Blunt looked about 16!

I thought it was very sweet how Sir Ian and PS kept holding hands and patting each other's arms and just being sort of physically affectionate. Very rare to see that between men in our culture. Just looked so natural and lovely.

I really enjoyed just listening to them all. Thought James Blunt did really well too - hard thing to come in at the end like that and be the 'outsider'.

When they did the Q &A thing they were ribbing each other it was adorable you can see they are more than friends and really love each other. PS going to be the poop emoji though Grin

There's a cracking photo of them having a full on kiss at some award show or some such. I think it's great IK is so open about his sexuality - also noticed his grope of Hugh's are. Can't blame him tbh!!

I was fortunate enough to attend the recording on Wednesday, it was the most fun I have ever witnessed in a TV studio- a lot! has been cut out but Sir Ian really made it a fab evening for all of us. They all seemed to have a genuine friendship and honestly the things that were cut were so funny but perhaps slightly libellous 😀

PS lives near us. I bumped into him on the steps of our village shop recently. Cue very posh sycophantic neighbour doing the whole "Patrick, daaaahling" routine. Grin

Oooo - can't wait to see it when it airs over here (Aus)!
Last night's offering was the Christmas show with Dame Helen Mirren, Will Smith and Katie Melua, plus a young actress whose name I haven't yet memorised (dolt that I am). Really good show though, I love Will Smith and Helen Mirren! Oh yes, and him off the Office and Sherlock, the HObbit, what's his name, Martin thingy - he was on it too.

I do love Graham Norton's shows, they're excellent and he gets such good guests! Expect I'll have to wait about 6 weeks to see this one though :(

The way that PS said that he was done because of HJ being done, and HJ's reaction to that was just lovely and felt very genuine.

Thumb Martin Freeman, who I have decided is a dick!
