Anyone watching Sunday Brunch? He's brilliant grin

LoveMyLittleSuperhero Sun 12-Feb-17 10:33:50

You're not alone wink

Has anyone read his book 'Becoming Johnny Vegas'? VERY interesting read. The guy has had(still has?) some major issues. It's by Michael Pennington (His 'real' name)

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff Sun 12-Feb-17 10:39:13

I can see that now thanks! Oops, didn't see it when I started this one (which is more of an appreciation thread) smile

gonetoflower Sun 12-Feb-17 10:39:18

Yeah, he's hilarious.

MrsJayy Sun 12-Feb-17 10:40:10

BoobleMcB I hope he has found real happiness with his lovely wife and baby.

The cook on it is so humourless.

insancerre Sun 12-Feb-17 11:08:21

I do find him funny

The80sweregreat Sun 12-Feb-17 11:09:59

I like JV too. He is what he is.
They have so many guests on this show.

MrsJayy Sun 12-Feb-17 11:10:54

Johnny is engaging with the guests Tim ignores them so he can be blokey with Simon he does my head in.

insancerre Sun 12-Feb-17 11:12:29

I never even realised Tim wasn't there till I read it on this thread and I've been watching it half an hour

MrsJayy Sun 12-Feb-17 11:16:47

That is how missable(not a word) Tim is grin

insancerre Sun 12-Feb-17 11:20:16

Im looking forward to rag n bone man too

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff Sun 12-Feb-17 12:08:02

He's chuffed after the message from EE's Patrick!

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard Sun 12-Feb-17 12:17:31

I think it must be quite exhausting for Simon, trying to keep on track with Johnny grin but it's such a nice change from Tim, who's an absolute personality vacuum. Tim doesn't cope very well with the voices in his ear from the gallery either, he often seems totally detached from the interviewee when he asks a question. They give an interesting reply and he just says 'ok' or 'right' flat as you like, then he moves on without engaging much at all. I think Tim has a comfort zone that he really doesn't want challenging at all.

The chef's a bit humourless yes, but it must be quite tricky for him cooking on live TV and coping with everything else going on in the studio.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff Sun 12-Feb-17 12:25:00

Simon will need a lie-down after the credits roll grin

insancerre Sun 12-Feb-17 12:32:13

Yes, a lie down in a darkened room
A good show
I how they get him back again
He is just so unpredictable but totally likeable
