Stanbury is a horrible cow. Sooner she goes to Dubai, the better.

I'm excited for the new series. I've recorded it but not watched yet. I plan to this evening.

kennypppppppp · 29/01/2017 17:58

I think the producers are going to stitch her up big style in this series. I like annabelle. Shame she's not back. Bloody Caroline Fleming is SO patronising and utterly eurgh. I feel sorry for Sophie with her divorce. Although divorcing stanbury would be an utter dream. She's vile. But seems to think it's funny. Luke's only friends with her because she pays him to be.
Must Google marissa's baby!! I like her and Matt.

Smallangryplanet · 29/01/2017 18:22

Her behaviour is puerile and venomous, not a good look. If you don't say it, they can't edit it. She's her own worst enemy, even paying for friends, I'm surprised she has any. They way she finished her business last series showed her true colours as a horrible human being.

EachandEveryone · 30/01/2017 21:52

What happened to Annabelle?

kennypppppppp · 04/02/2017 14:34

Apparently annabelle was only in it to promote her books that she wrote. So now she's got muchhhhhhh better things to do. And I don't blame her. (Should she want my un blamey feelings).

KenDoddsDadsDog · 04/02/2017 14:35

Can't bear Luke the lapdog . And Julie is such a pain.

kennypppppppp · 04/02/2017 14:39

Surely Luke could find a different job. Rather than being paid to be in stanbury' slipstream. I don't mind Julie. Although the women who run the shop aren't too keen. But it's a big old advert for the posh house she's now got to run. I'd go there for a nosey. Although probably won't ever.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 04/02/2017 15:43

The shop women are distinctly underwhelmed !

Allthebestnamesareused · 04/02/2017 15:49

I feel sorry for Julie having to deal with the gift shop women who have been there for 30 years.

Julie was right - get rid of the stuff that doesn't sell. Liked all the Emma Bridgwater stuff. If she got a few nice toys or books etc. and other gifts and nice greeting cards. If there is a coffee shop that also became a nice place to go to people might think to buy gifts etc from the shop. We have a farm nearby that did the same.

A couple of branded things are fine for day visitors who like that sort of thing.

She is never going to win with people who are set in their ways.

Misses point of thread!

cauliwobbles · 04/02/2017 16:39

CS is an utter bitch but that pales into insignificance at the utter state of Tori Spelling.

Smallangryplanet · 05/02/2017 00:44

Sophie spilling the beans to Jools about being dangerous was always going to cause trouble and she shouldn't have done it. She was spot in saying that CS used that as an excuse to gun for Jules. Talking about the divorce in front of her little nephews when she knew they didn't know was appalling- what an utter see you next Tuesday. Sophie seemed to be asking her permission to go and comfort her son ffs. Sophie said she has never been on the receiving end of CS's wrath, I bet she's witnessed it on a daily basis thought and has done fuck all about it.

Caro F was bizarre. She must have own giving divulging her DF's cancer to the press was going to cause a shit storm. I bet her family will be very unhappy.

Tori Spelling looked like a melted wax work, hardly recognized her.

Next week looks interesting. No idea why Jules asked CS to. Mapperton, bizarre that CS went.

Not sure about Marissa and Juliet .

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/02/2017 07:56

I was shocked at Tori Spelling , you don't realise she's like that from photos.
CF must have done that on purpose to get column inches surely.

Smallangryplanet · 05/02/2017 12:09

Sorry known not own. CF can't be so unaware, she's been in the public eye her whole life. I agree she must have done it on purpose.

kennypppppppp · 05/02/2017 22:07

Tori spelling looked like she was auditioning for a part in bo selecta. Bizarrrrrrrrrrrrrrre look. Caroline Stan only goes to mapperton this week because the producers tell her to go to make it good telly. I would hate to be in a programme like that, should they want to do ladies of east London (I.e. Me) ... Having to be in a room with people you can't stand just to end up arguing because that makes supposedly good telly. Eurgh to the stanbury. Sophie;s hair is amazing though and doesn't look remotely extensiony ... To my extremely untrained eye. But the stress of divorce and having to cope with a new nanny too. Howwwwwwwww tiresome.

Smallangryplanet · 12/02/2017 11:01

I felt a bit sorry for Caroline F when she was talking about her Father. Her Step Mother aka Father's third wife was horrible in the clip of the last visit to Copenhagen. No wonder she can manage the drama and fault outs of this group, she is well used to dealing with spite and nastiness.

CS was very rude. She is looking for an excuse to behave badl. Two hours late for dinner was rude for the people she was in the hotel with as well as those at Mapperton. Her friend Adela (?) clearly took a pop at her because she was fed up. Treat as you find is a good motto, CS would go ballistic if the tables were turned. I'm finding the Dubai excitement in poor taste after how she deal with her staff last season. Awful, horrible woman, I fast through her interview bits.

OP posts:
KenDoddsDadsDog · 12/02/2017 13:31

Adela's skin is incredible !
Caroline S is such a sulky bitch.

Smallangryplanet · 12/02/2017 16:09

Sulky bitch is spot on.

Annabelle was my favourite. CStan is a really horrible person. I couldn't believe when she said "mission failed, I wanted to make her cry" what a childish batch. I'm warming to Julie. Juliet is really annoying.

It is so addictive, but makes me cringe at the same time. They're so horrid to each other.

Smallangryplanet · 16/02/2017 22:54

So horrible about the the gift bags, saying she was going to chuck it in the bin.

Not sure why CS is annoyed with Sophie? Adela was the one she had an issue with and she is supposed to be able to stick up for herself. Saying that, she always has soldiers on side like make up artist and Juliet.

OP posts:
Tiffanysfanny · 16/02/2017 23:33

I must be terrible for loving all the nasties on reality tv. They are the reasons why I watch them.
I love Caroline s. I will miss her if she leaves. I hope she decides to stay or is till featured.
Cf fascinates me. Yes, I do think she said that to the press on purpose. I would do the same if I had a similar step mum to hers.
Adela, meh!

I am more shocked that the Merissa is leaving her baby behind for a couple of days. I had a jaw drop when she mentioned it.

Sophie annoys me.

Annabelle bore me to death. I thought it was creepy when she was talking to Naomi k. It was like they were mirroring each other.

tiffanysfanny · 16/02/2017 23:41

Cf and cs brother, the personal space there was a bit uncomfortable. Am I the only one who noticed that? Too close for comfort.

DameSquashalot · 17/02/2017 07:39

I missed the Naomi one by mistake when I was catching up. I'll have to watch it.

I noticed the closeness, but forgot about it soon after.

I too was surprised about Marissa leaving the baby. At first I was amazed that she was going so soon, but when I realised she was leaving the baby I was a bit 😳😮

I like Sophie, I think she'd be fun to hang around with. They were having a ball when they were having fish and chips before the black cloud of CS decsended.

CS can ftfotdatfosm. I fast forward through as much or her as I can.

Even though she has a nanny, I'm surprised Marisa is well enough to flight out and party on Long Island. Her talking about pregnancy like it was a tour of Afghanistan, (largely because she couldn't drink) is a bit tedious. I know she was really worried and on bed rest but ffs. I don't think it's a good idea to take a newborn on that kind of trip and the baby probably won't know any different. I would not have been in a fit state, emotionally or physically.

OP posts:
tiffanysfanny · 17/02/2017 11:05

I was worried about the flight too with the baby.
Leaving the baby behind was worse until I remembered how fondly she spoke of the maternity nurse.
With what that baby has been through, (if her portrayal of what she went through is tue) I don't think I would have the strength to leave her behind.
She is probably safer at home.

Sophie has confidence issue. What I love about these shows is that it brings confidence out of people like Sophie.

I also love how the show has been getting better and better with every season. The first season I don't thing the producers knew what to do.
You could tell in the editing. I also, think there was a lot of red tape from the women. It felt very controlled.
Thank goodness they are beginning to relax and thinking of more ways to create drama.
I love the standard too.

Gingerbreadmam · 17/02/2017 11:09

i did not know there was a new series. will be catching up over the weekend.

i too will miss Annabelle.
