We were away for the whole of Christmas so haven't watched any of the Christmas telly.

So if you watched anything over Christmas that you would recommend could you let me know and I'll see if I can find it on catch up.

Many thanks - and Happy New Year.

RTKanga wasn't that film great? I read afterwards that the oldest daughter, Lottie, was played by Aled Jones's daughter!

Louise I am glad other people saw it too Xmas SmileXmas SmileXmas Smile

That is interesting about the DD - IMHO the children were really DEFFO brill and I think it might have been Adlib cos same writer/director as outnumbered etc

Please watch it on iplayer but it isn't for children to watch really cos of subject and some language etc

Ethel & Earnest is repeated on TV (not sure what exact details ATM) but it is very very good again not for children but very good both funny and sad

I was disappointed with Bronte sisters film due to the language used didn't seem "right" - saying "Shift" to a dog to get it to move out of the way

Also the camera angles kept changing like the director/camera operator had been given the zoom or camera buttons to use as and when they wanted like new toys on Christmas Day

BUT DH loved it, I tried cos I was looking forward to it but I was just getting annoyed
