Why did nobody tell me about this before ?

Northernlurker Mon 05-Dec-16 23:29:50

How did you not know?
It's like Game of Thrones with a slight air of historic reality.
Very slight.

Northernlurker Mon 05-Dec-16 23:30:34

Especially as Natalie Dormer is in it. She's marvellous.

Jermajesty Mon 05-Dec-16 23:30:55

Oh my, you are in for a treat!

JaneJeffer Mon 05-Dec-16 23:31:24

You're a bit behind the times! Lucky you, get to enjoy all the goodness that is Henry Cavill, yum.

Warl Mon 05-Dec-16 23:32:01

Oh it's brilliant, I struggled all the way through with Henry not being at rotund as my school history books though!!

AnyFucker Mon 05-Dec-16 23:34:28

I always arrive late at these things.

Bloody loved Tudors, used to kid myself I was watching an educashunal programme grin Loved fab Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn and brooding James Frain as Cromwell. It got a bit boring in the later series.

I loved this - just as much for Jonathan rm's refusal to ginger up or wear a fat suit. Iirc he barely looks any different throughout the whole series...

Abit late but needed something to fill the void before I binge watch all the new outlander

Stick with it to the end when henry morphs into the godfather!

Shadow666 Fri 22-Sep-17 03:07:47

The Tudors is brilliant. JRM is going to be in the next season of Vikings. So excited!!

I'm still drooling over Damian Lewis in Wolf Hall

Well, I'm half way through the first episode because of this thread, and Cardinal Wolsey and Thomas More are trying to convince the king to create the EU, so now I'm all sad.
