The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really grin Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

It's a pity there isn't an Argentine Tango at Blackpool, I do love an AT. And there's only one Paso Doble too.

BalloonSlayer Sat 19-Nov-16 16:12:33

Marking my place for tonight!

GrouchyKiwi Sat 19-Nov-16 16:29:56

Placemarking. Thanks, Polka.

SoupDragon Sat 19-Nov-16 16:34:22

Ed, Great Balls of Fire.... bring it on!

ElizaSchuyler Sat 19-Nov-16 16:37:21

Darcy was at my daughter's school yesterday then the BBC sent a car to whisk her off to Blackpool afterwards.

Dd said she was lovely - she's still on cloud 9 after yesterday so we will be watching tonight.

Fiderer Sat 19-Nov-16 16:54:08

Hello everyone smilesmilesmile

IIRC the way the floor is sprung really caused problems in a previous year hope it is ok for my favourites tonight and that they have practised enough on it so it doesn't "throw" them iyswim

TimTamTerrier Sat 19-Nov-16 17:03:27

The springiness of the floor should help with the jives and the quickstep.

GrouchyKiwi Sat 19-Nov-16 17:03:42

That's lovely Eliza. smile

CondensedMilkSarnies Sat 19-Nov-16 17:14:51

What was wrong with Rob Rinder on ITT ? He was so rude to Gethin , just giving one word answers.

CongresswomanCaveMum Sat 19-Nov-16 18:13:22

Checking in! Hoping I get to watch in real time tonight and not have to tend to a grumpy toddler like last week!

RTKangaMummy Sat 19-Nov-16 18:16:04

TimTam. Yes I agree it should help

Wot I meant was the problem before was that it was "too" bouncy compared to rehearsal room and the celeb was completely "ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!" by it

TimTamTerrier Sat 19-Nov-16 18:34:54

I wonder if it puts their timing off a bit Kanga, if they are bouncing higher then perhaps each jump takes a tiny bit longer and that stops them hitting the beat.

ElspethFlashman Sat 19-Nov-16 18:35:20

Placemarking.

Though I do tire of the whole "Blackpool is The Summit of All Human Expectation" stuff poured down our throats by Len.

Redcrayons Sat 19-Nov-16 18:35:46

Checking in. First time watching I've for a couple of weeks.

CongresswomanCaveMum Sat 19-Nov-16 18:37:08

I'm sure they said the floor at Blackpool can fluctuate by as much as 8 inches!

TheDrsDocMartens Sat 19-Nov-16 18:39:56

I'm watching with my6 year old tonight as the rest of the family has deserted me. Every year I hope to be at Blackpoolbut still haven't made it, I've no chance of getting to a London show but Blackpool is pretty close.

GrouchyKiwi Sat 19-Nov-16 18:40:38

8 inches!

2kids2dogsnosense Sat 19-Nov-16 18:41:43

I wondered that, too condensed. TBH, that not-quite-hissy-fir has put me right off him. I thought he was very rude.

ellenanora5 Sat 19-Nov-16 18:52:32

Thanks Polkadots smile

I wonder how many sticks of rock we'll see and how many times the tower will be mentioned.

DiegeticMuch Sat 19-Nov-16 18:55:15

Rinder was a complete douche to Gethin yesterday. Very disappointing.

JennyHolzersGhost Sat 19-Nov-16 18:57:03

Can someone give those of us who don't watch ITT a summary of the Rinder action please ???

Am also checking in. Just had an unwelcome attempt at interruption so have barricaded myself in the sitting room with some Chardonnay and M&S nibbles. Blackpool wooooo - bring it on !!

digerd Sat 19-Nov-16 18:58:06
