Really looking forward to the group pro dance this week, it looks great, and spooky! Brendan does do menacing well! Anyone remember that Paso he did in one of the early series with the blonde actress who was always crying? Her name escapes me (Sarah something?) but he really didn't get on with her, back in the good ol' Bad Boy Brendan days!

The Paris trip was bizarre. What was it referring to? Have forgotten as was prob too busy rolling my eyes at it. 4 days to learn a new dance so you waste what, half a day buggering about the Eiffel Tower.

VTs this week will mainly be people jumping out behind doors waving spooky scary props, a ride on a ghost train, and Craig being the pantomine vampire/undead who terrifies someone

Just checked out the song/dances for this week. Some very strange 'halloween' choices...

Greg doing the rumba does not give me good vibes but I really really hope he pulls it off (plus I am holding on to Monkseal's statistic that no man has been eliminated on a rumba since series 8 )

Louise is going to have to shed her inhibitions for the Charleston and I predict Ore and Joanne pull off an outstanding charleston in comparison!

Fiderer the Paris trip was a reference to the "theme" (big finger quotes!) of the dance - a couple dancing beneath the Eiffel Tower. Had absolutely no bearing on the lyrics of the song at all so sounds like they fancied a jolly day out If I was on SCD I'd be spending every spare minute in the studio training, not arsing about on the Chsmps Elysees!

On a totally unrelated note, you up for a West Wing-style US Election Night thread? Marker pens at the ready!

CaveMum - would love that! Buggered though that having thought it was on a Thursday I could as usual, stay up all night with a few sofa snoozes.

My daughter told me it's a Tuesday. Lord knows how she knew as she can barely tell what day it is and constantly runs back to the house (again today) ringing the bell in a frenzy cos she'd forgotten her PE kit.

I don't work on Fridays so they should really move it for me. Though I don't start till 12 so could get a few hours sleep. At what time do they normally call the election?

Shall print out a blank electoral map to colour blue/red and steal a white board from school and do a Josh.

I had to look it up, it was bugging me so much - Brendan danced with Sarah Manners in Series 2. Can't find a video of her Paso though, I remember it was very gothic and she had a black and purple dress.

Have missed ITT most of this series but just saw that Monkseal does recaps. I do love how he writes, he makes me laugh and I can understand the technical dance stuff. Plus the screen shots.
