I can't decide. It's written by Sharron Hogan but the laughs aren't coming for me yet.

I laughed a lot at the very first scene. I remember doing that to my ex H, many times. I'm watching the rest tomorrow so will come back then.

I watched it. It was ok. I wouldn't say it was hilarious though.

It had more of an air of a comedy drama about it. I'm interested to see where it's going and I'll definitely watch it again.

It did seem a bit like an 'What are they doing now' update of Sex and The City.

Oh, I liked the bit where her husband was singing in the car so she turned the radio off Grin Done that many a time to my DH.

Ooh, thought the trailers looked good. I'll get it on catch up!

I've seen her friends before in something. I will watch again to see how it goes. It felt really scripted to me I know it is but they just seemed like they were reading their lines. I live sjp but is she ever gonna shake Carrie Bradshaw off?

Thought it was really good and also thought Sharon Horgan has definitely been reading MN! Thought the same about Catastrophe.

I hated the second season of catastrophy

Thought it was depressing rather than funny. Will probably persist to the next episode though....

I think it's more drama than comedy. Great acting, I love SJP. Bloke who plays her husband was great too.

I loved it! Top notch stuff from SJP. Can't wait for next ep!

I thought it was ok.

The woman who played the friend whose husband had a heart attack plays the same character in just about everything she is in.

So does sjp to be fair.

Each i agree about sjp too.

I think i notice the other one more because her characters are always loud mouthed raging alcoholics whereas sjp is more meek and dull.

I just watched the first episode. No spoilers to follow but would love to discuss it Smile in more detail.

I'm really intrigued by it, went into it trying not to think of her as Carrie or SJP.

Ive seen a couple of comedy/dramas were you have older women playing stronger lead roles that aren't to OTT, more "normal" Sensitive Skin was another ive seen recently that was enjoyable.

I never expected it to be laugh out loud funny, just subtle humour which it certainly has.

Much better than catastrophe I agree the second season was not as good as the first with that, this feels more realistic and a darker more grown up humour if that makes sense.

Sensitive skin was amazing wasn't it?

I enjoyed it, but I think Sharon Horgan is a genius so am very biased. Loved seeing Jermaine from flight of the conchords in it too. I think it'll improve the further we get into it.

I loved sensitive skin, think she played the lead very well and never once thought of her as "Samantha" made me cry on so many occasions

I loved it but I'm a big fan of SJP. Can't wait to see the next ep. Her friend (not the one whose birthday it was) is played by Talia Balsam, the ex wife of a certain Mr Clooney!

Yes she was in Mad Men she married to that silver fox John Slattery. She's great. Has Sensitive Skin. Included now? I love both their Instagrams and they seem back to being friends. That's if the press was true over them not liking each other in SATC

Sensitive Skin was very good but preferred the British version.

Not sure about this, it's almost like I can hear Sharon Hogan reading the script.
