Just seen the trailer
Cue weeks of theoretical hiding locations pros and cons 😳😂

Yay! We loved this, so glad there is a second series on the way.

I loved this too but missed the first one last time, so I didn't see where they ran from. Do they get a head start?

Yay i loved this.

I think they get 24 hours or maybe 12 hours.

Wonder what happened to the ones from the first series. Wonder if some of them are still speaking to their hunted partner.

Hurrah! Yes a 'what happened next' would be very interesting.

I can imagine the GP is hiding under his desk from his patients. Grin

Its those who made the other person get caught by doing something stupid like phoning home that i am interested to know if they are still talking. I would have been absolutely pissed off if that happened to me.

Looking forward to this but how they can evade capture with helicopters and dogs I don't know ?!
I expect they have a pretty good idea of where they all are in reality as they have cameraman with them but obviously they don't want to catch them all in first few episodes

Does anyone else fantasize about what they'd do ?
I'd get myself some beige and brown clothes like our local nuns wear and seek sanctuary at nearby convent maybe transferring to other ones too. Don't know rules though , is that permissible?

I'm so excited that this is back!

A colleague and I decided we would apply to be on it but then realised we'd be shit Grin

I'd love to give it a go though.

Last series didn't they all seem to end up hiding in an essex caravan park? I would hide there this series*. That has to be the LAST place they look now surely??!

*except I can't remember where it was.

Looking forward to new series - esp as DH is seriously considering putting in for next series (and has already told me that he will never ring me nor use any ATM........Army for 17 years & has a wealth of experience in covert ops)

Oh, I hate when they over "glamorise" in a second season. Why are they all leaving from the same place? I much preferred it when they had to drop and go from wherever they were at the time.

I LOVE politeman already.

Report
TypicallyEnglishMustard · 22/09/2016 21:18

That bit with politeman was so contrived.

Report
TheSpottedZebra · 22/09/2016 21:25

Yeah, I'm going to go off politeman real fast if he doesn't become a bit less crap.

So we have 3 ex-servicemen?

Agree TypicallyEnglish, but this is much harder I think. It was more personal though. They'd kind of worked out how to do it last time, so I guess they had to change the rules.

Agree that the obvious thing to do is to hole up somewhere quiet - some sort of dodgy boarding house in a small town, cash in hand. So they've made the rule (or perhaps it was the last time too) that you have to keep moving.

TheSpottedZebra · 22/09/2016 21:26

Oh no, a whole group of ex military types.

BW6 your DH would fit right in!

Report
TheSpottedZebra · 22/09/2016 21:29

They're idiots to keep smartphones. A series of burner PAYG phones/SIMs, bought with cash.

But I guess the rules say that friends and family cannot change their emails and phones. So you'd just have to not phone them.

One of those women is going to call her mum and blow the game. And the chap with the iPhone will call his kids, repeatedly - and ditto.

Great quote, that's going up in my classroom tomorrow.

I think the hunters will enjoy tracking the ex army ones the most.

Report
Oldraver · 22/09/2016 21:57

what I don't get is that that they have all must of seen the first series and saw what was searched for by the Hunters......So you would think they would minimise their online presence and certainly not keep passwords on their laptops and other devices.

If you knew you were going on a programme like this you would prepare for months ahead and lay low

I loved Ricky Allen last series

I couldn't believe it when he got caught. I thought he was going to reveal it was actually a doppelgänger and the real Ricky Allen got off the train at Milton Keynes

Report
TypicallyEnglishMustard · 22/09/2016 22:02

I don't really buy that mum of one of the girls was so daft as to blurt out loads of info to the hunters without being scripted to do so.

And dad just happened to have papers with loads of their plans on them in his pocket? Really?

I thought the peroxide was to disguise themselves as a gay couple, but no.
That would have been novel.

Love Hunted.

I preferred it when they left from their homes also, it made it less 'reality tv'.

Can't believe the army duo arranged a rendezvous with his son on his birthday. The army bloke crawled across the grass, did the cameraman do the same or have long sitance cameras? Also, in the last series, the ones who got caught were those who used contacts. Eg. Stayed in family caravan in Wales. Surely the army duo would know that this is where they would look first.

In this day and age, when you get fines for picking up migrants etc, I'm surprised anyone will pick up strangers. Perhaps having a cameraman with them legitimises it. However, they could do well as they are use to the great outdoors and seem a bit madcap.

I get quite into Hunted, but I do think it's a bit too set up this year - all starting in Brum with oodles of CCTV in the area, that dad handing over lists of truck stops, no one deleting their social media accounts etc. Saying that, I'm still going to watch it Grin
NewBalls we have also been discussing where we would go and who we would count on as our getaway driver Grin
