Years ago, before online shopping, I had occasion to go to a 24 hour Tesco at about 1am. Pretty much everyone else in there was very overweight. I felt sad that these people were obviously too embarrassed to shop during the day, presumably because they had been abused when they had in the past, or they feared they would be.
