I've just watched up to episode 6. It's easily the best series I've watched for donkeys. Only two left to go....

I was away on the Saturday but effectively did it in two 4 hour stints. The acting is just so great, and the kids seem really real. So many questions about the final ten minutes though.

We've watched up to episode 4. It's brilliant. Especially like the little boy with missing front teeth and curly hair!

Me! Finished it last night, I loved it! Especially how much it reminded me of Stephen King. I liked the ending, thought it was interesting who the girl ended up with (less cliche) and also felt a bit sad (don't want to post spoilers).

I still haven't had time to watch the last two (got to wait for DH to be back on early shifts). Should be able to report back on Thursday once completed. Can't wait!!

I don't want to post spoilers but I have so many thoughts questions

This isn't a spoiler though

If she's Eleven are their ten others and are they other individual kids or clones of her?

One episode to go!

Really liked this. Love the Dustin kid, so sweet and funny. Great little actors all the kids.

Wondering how it ends and if there will be more to come? Hope so!

I thought this was a fab series and binge watched it over two days. I thought the girl who played eleven was an amazing actress. I loved all the old movie/books references, my favourites were all the scenes that reminded me of watching poltergeist the first time, flickering tv lights, hauling people by ropes etc.
I did feel sad at the ending I wish I knew more of what happened (won't go into more detail so I don't spoil it for others).

Am loving this show too. Four episodes in and hooked.
The casting was very well considered - the girl playing Eleven in particular.
I think this maybe the best 80's horror tribute. Like others have said, its so reminiscent of Stephen King, E.T, Goonies with a dark X-files feel. Great stuff.

Mathew Modine and Winona Ryder are excellent too. Plus no adverts and no waiting for a weekly episode and no 'previously on Stranger Things...' catch up montage...ahhhh...Brew

I've just watched the final episode. Definitely the best series I've watched in a long time! I loved it had some sweeter moments amongst the darker stuff, some great acting from the children, and still left with questions at the end! Dh and I just took 3 evenings to watch it.

I have just devoured this over two evenings! Just brilliant. The music soundtrack was fantastic and great nostalgic feel. I can't wait for another season!

Started this last night - loving it! Reminds me too of ET, Goonies etc. and Stephen King-ish. I've always thought Winnona was a fantastic, underrated actress.

Looking forward to DH going out to the pub tonight so I can get in another couple of episodes in peace!

I have really enjoyed this, it had such a great 80's vibe to it, all my favourites rolled into one, ET, Goonies, Stephen King, Aliens etc.
I have so many questions!!
I never watch things twice, but I may watch it again to see if there are any further clues.

Finished this last night and now feel bereft. So good. All the kids were excellent, especially El. She had so few lines but expressed so much with her face. Brilliant.

Also liked that Steve turned out not to be the stereotypical douchebag popular guy...I did a little air-punch when he ran back to help with the monster Grin

Need to talk about the ending. Can we? I know there's a spoiler warning but just wanted to double-check.

Watching episode 5 now, am absolutely loving it and agree with what everyone said! If you start discussing the end can you say before posting and I won't read until I've finished.

We finished it last night and I have questions, and musings. It's far too long to wait for season 2!

I thought is was amazingly good. Even the opening titles and the fact each episode is called a chapter was inspired. I'm not a fan of horror so didn't expect to like it that much but it's one of the best things I've ever watched. The young actors in it were all incredible. I think we'll be seeing a lot from them in the future.

I am loving this. Have watched 3 episodes now and don't want it to end.

Agree with the ET vibe, makes me think of ?The Goonies a bit as well. Love the 80s setting.

Yes, I got The Goonies and Stand by Me vibes too.

Halloween too. It's a big homage (?) to 80's horror and adventure films really. Brilliant.

We've watched all but the last one. I don't mind spoilers though.

It's good for a Netflix original, this and iZombie are changing my opinion of Netflix Grin

I see that Barbara has a cult following now after this, they're calling her Queen Barb!

I do have a few questions... why did the Agents kill the Diner owner but let the sheriff, who knew much more than him go free?
