I last watched it when I was 16. I'm now 32 and re watching it so I feel like I related to Rory 1st time round and now to Lorelai.

Same here. I identify more with Lorelei on rewatch. But Rory will be early 30s in the revival so it'll be interesting to see what she's done with her life.

Can't bloody wait! I may have booked that day off work in preparation.

I have just discovered this programme and watching right from the start on Netflix. I love it, perfect comfort watching for winter nights. It'll be a while until I get to the new ones though!

I'm on maternity so I'm trying to rewatch all series for November but it's not going to plan (only watch in the day as dh and I are watching the walking dead in the evenings - bit different!) I'm only on series 4 - I started in April! Need to get some marathons in. On the plus side my 6mo loves the theme tune!

I remember lots about it, but I must have lost interest at some point as can't remember how it all ends

Just finishing season 7. As much as I love it, I gotta say- Lorelai seems extremely codependent and narcissistic toward Rory and not really what I want my relationship with my DD to be like as I once did.

I can't wait to see what they're all doing now.

It's back November 25th. All 4 episodes will be up at once as is usual with Netflix.

Loads of the original cast will be in it, including all of Rory's boyfriends, but some of them will just be in one episode. I'm looking forward to Paris and Sookie the most!

I love Gilmore girls. Watched it in my teens religiously. But rewatching as an adult starkly highlights how bloody selfish and dependent lorelai is on Rory. And she's Down right cruel to men. Thoughtless of her friends. She's a bitch truth be told. Still can't wait tho.

Ours was a religious thing. It was a steep learning curve but he'd stayed over (but mostly slept in the spare bed) because we met through OLD and were long-distance to start with. People are surprised but it worked for us

Loved the original! World's coolest mum! Not sure about the re-make though. Everything about the original was safe and feel-good. I don't see how they can re create the atmosphere
