Second Vikings and Good Wife (give them a few episodes). Also - Sopranos (helped me with the end of breaking bad grief), Hell On Wheels (Western like Deadwood),
Damages (made a while ago) Glenn Close is amazing in it. Americans is good too (the pilot episode is a bit weak but it really improves). Line of Duty - corrupt police drama (BBC has 3 series)

Playduh - my DH also hated SoA we never got past the 3rd episode. He loved Billions.
