I'm going on maternity leave in the next few weeks and will hopefully have a little bit of time to watch some tv. I have Sky (with box sets), Netflix and Amazon Prime tv so plenty to choose from!

What are your recommendations?

Netflix - How to Get Away with Murder. Was brilliant.

Currently watching Orphan Black on Netflix and really enjoying it.

They also have Prison Break which is brilliant!

The good wife is awesome. It's a very modern legal drama.

Outlander on Amazon.

Haven't watched any of those suggested so far - thank you!

On Amazon - Vikings, Bosch, Man in the High Castle
On Netflix - Braking Bad
On Sky - almost anything but Mad Men, Game of Thones in particular
We love a binge watch

We've just finished watching The Returned on netflix really enjoyed it and we're hooked from the 1st episode also Sons of Anarchy was another good one

Banshee all 4 seasons on Sky at the moment. Utter fabulous - strong strong female leads but with lots of violence and some sex but great story lines

TrionicLettuce Sun 22-May-16 21:53:38

iZombie and Jessica Jones on Netflix.

The Man in the High Castle, Mr Robot, Bosch on Amazon Prime. Empire has also just been added, I think I might give it a rattle.
I really enjoyed Daredevil on Netflix, I'm not usually a fan of comic book stuff.

I spent both my pregnancies watching The West Wing. It's marvellous. Its an old one but wonderfully written.

Thanks k you all - think I'll be pretty much set with all of these suggestions grin I love Game of Thrones but wasn't keen on Vikings unfortunately.

Thank you

I loved Vikings but don't like Game of Thrones! Liking Fringe at the moment. Also Sons of Anarchy was just brilliant.

If you are looking for comedies, I recommend Arrested Development and Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia - both on Netflix

I'll second the good wife and daredevil (the violence won't bother you if you watch game of thrones). There's a Netflix original series that's came out a couple of months ago, argh I can't remember the name but a romantic comedy that's a bit darker. Funny and lighter than other suggestions

tryingtocatchthewind Mon 23-May-16 09:05:07

Just googled it, it's just called Love apparently

Temporaryanonymity Mon 23-May-16 09:29:22

I also enjoyed Transparent. It was darkly funny and poignant.

Sons of Anarchy - 7 series so plenty of watching!
Man in the High Castle
Outlander
Breaking Bad

Don't know if The Wire is on Netflix but that would be another great binge mat watch
