Can't remember the details but main thing was slade and the lawyer Got her out of the house and slade then told lawyer that he shot the record producer

Oh and I think the gist of the policeman bit was that it was impossible for the guy who is in prison to have done something to Jesse - I'm holding out for a recap of this part! As I seem to recall seeing a flashback of them together...but that he didn't actually do whatever happened to him.

Thanks sandwichyum! So the record producer wasn't Jesse. Am intrigued by this series, its got a bad write up but I'm hooked
