If someone who lives in Australia wants to access BBC iPlayer, is there a way this can be done?

Not legally!

Actually scrap that - I don't know for Australia.

Not legally but I have heard if you have a VPN then BBC, ITV, 4OD and Netflix can be accessed easily

Not that I would ever do anything like that to be able to watch trash TV of course........

I've found a thing called hola that I downloaded onto my computer.

It changes the ip address that I'm viewing from, and allows me to watch iplayer, free. It also lets me watch American Netflix.

I have no idea how it works, but it doesn't cost anything and doesn't appear to be obviously illegal confused

I use hola as well, can be very annoying at times when it doesn't work but meh, its free.

Thanks for your input, everyone. Didn't realise I was skirting the fringes of illegal activity, but promise I'll be discreet!
