Someone confirm I am not going bonkers , but did I see a trailer saying it is coming back on 27th January on Sky Atlantic ? If so, I cant wait !

PotteringAlong Tue 19-Jan-16 19:13:50

I saw it too! Am looking forward to it!

RomComPhooey Tue 19-Jan-16 19:16:55

Has it moved to Sky Atlantic? Ratbags! (We don't get it on Virgin cable.)

oldmum22 Tue 19-Jan-16 19:25:50

Yippeee ,I am not going mad . I must look out for the advert again and confirm times and channel. This, for me, is one of the best programmes on telly -I am so happy .

BagelfortheNewYear Tue 19-Jan-16 23:27:43

Really? What a bugger, we don't get Atlantic.

I've been rewarding the last series and still enjoy it 2nd time around.

Cast is good, although story lines are fairly (very) implausible. But a nice way to spend an hour and I like the family interactions too.

Just seen an ad for it - will be on Sky Living on 27 Jan

msrisotto Wed 20-Jan-16 20:40:40

Ooh I was only wondering today when it was coming back! I've missed it!

RomComPhooey Wed 20-Jan-16 22:59:32

Thanks Bagel - that's cheered me up, knowing it hasn't gone to Atlantic.

Caught the trailer this evening. This season's storyline looks ace, but I won't spoil it for others who haven't seen it yet.

Looking forward to it coming back!

Anyone seen the 1st show? Really enjoyed it! Morgan Freeman directing (and appearing), excellent story to start with & Tea Leoni is as good as ever. I think all the characters have 'bedded in' well now, it felt 'familiar' and the sideline stories from perfect hubby impossibly too perfect children are good too, but still grate a tad. Not sure any of it is that plausible but it's a good yarn, and really well done too.

RomComPhooey Thu 28-Jan-16 00:09:49

I liked Beth signing through pardons etc for the brief period she was at the helm.

Also thought Daisy should have led the song skit - she had a much better voice than Bebe Neuwirth (can't remember her MS character's name).

minnymoobear Thu 28-Jan-16 00:11:23

Another fan here! Loved it tonight, great show

TensionWheelsCoolHeels Thu 28-Jan-16 00:15:56

I agree about daisy - 'twas a travesty she wasn't centre stage with that voice grin Bebe's was a bit, erm, warbly. I foresee more tension ahead between potus & Madam Sec. I'd love this show to have enough legs to see Madam Sec become president eventually. Tea Leoni is just too good to wallow in the wings indefinitely...

I want Russell Jackson to get what's coming to him after he didn't consult her about the new security chief guy. Can't she fire him?

oldmum22 Thu 28-Jan-16 09:31:57

Loved the show last night. It is like a comfy pair of slippers , you know that everything will be ok :-)

TensionWheelsCoolHeels Thu 28-Jan-16 11:34:41

Russell Jackson is just the right amount of weasley & officious/jobsworth type who has a 'big ticket' for himself/thinks he's as important as potus when it comes to MS. I love how they 'spar' grin

RomComPhooey Fri 29-Jan-16 06:48:54

I would have fired him while I was acting POTUS in Beth's shoes.

oneowlgirl Fri 29-Jan-16 21:45:05

Loved it! I so want her to be President smile

TensionWheelsCoolHeels Wed 17-Feb-16 22:59:33

Better episode this week, wasn't too enamoured with last week can't decide if I don't like MS being shafted by new bloke or if it was just a crap episode. I usually don't like the stories with their eldest DD, but felt quite sorry for her. Incidentally, I found out while googling something that Tea Leoni is dating her onscreen husband in real life...

BagelGoesWalking Fri 19-Feb-16 19:37:57

Go Tea! I like his character in MS and he is good looking. Googled a few pictures online and they look good together in RL.

*SPOILER ALERT**Just watched on catch up the most recent episode and I swear the programme just gets better and better. I was completely riveted as the young Russian soldier was sitting on the underground in Moscow being followed by Russian agents whilst back in USA , the President had just sanctioned an attack on the Moscow .Absolutely LOVE this show.

oneowlgirl Fri 08-Apr-16 23:01:21

This had gone off Threads I'm On - really annoys me how this happens now!!

Still loving it - enjoyed this weeks & loved how the school made them spend time volunteering!
