I'm loving it.
The crunching snow is such a satisfying sound!

I've just popped out with the dog, on return I've discovered DH has turned over to Peter Kay hmmmmm.

I loved the previous Kennet & Avon Canal version, this one seems a bit more 'staged"?

ProfGrammaticus Thu 24-Dec-15 21:24:44

Yes I think it is a bit.

The little factoid things are annoying me too.

Very relaxing to watch & I love the palette: white, greige & red.

It was strangely compelling. I meant to watch just five minutes, but ended up watching (or rather reading and then looking up from time to time) the whole thing. And loving Sami fashions.

I started watching it - but I was in bed and the soporific sound of the sleighs on the snow meant that I fell asleep!

I saw the bit where they stopped to collect two burning bits of wood, from the guy with the fire, to use as torches. But it's just occurred to me that the guy was sitting by a fire in the middle of nowhere. Was he just camping (I couldn't see a tent or shelter), or is his job to provide sleigh drivers with torches? fconfused

Loved it.

I'm sure it's repeated in the day tomorrow.

Woo hoo - it's being repeated now. And I'm awake this time! Missed the beginning though.
