Can anyone tell me when these two air on TV?

ChiefClerkDrumknott Wed 16-Dec-15 14:49:44

Christmas special is on New Year's Day. Not sure if there's been a date announced for S4 yet

ElviraCondomine Wed 16-Dec-15 18:08:27

Sherlock is being shown in cinemas the same evening (with a few extras.) I am taking a car load of excited teens!

GertyBoo Thu 17-Dec-15 18:40:32

Thank you both!

DH is poised for tonight at 9pm grin

CaveMum Fri 01-Jan-16 20:50:55

Season 4 hasn't been filmed yet, they're due to start on it in the spring I think and I presume broadcast in January 2017.

So excited for tonight's special!

Lottapianos Fri 01-Jan-16 20:54:08

Ridiculously excited. Its really quite pathetic grin

CaveMum Fri 01-Jan-16 21:07:17

Loving the flashback and mirroring of Study in Pink!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams Fri 01-Jan-16 21:08:05

Molly with her moustache grin

SpecialistSnowflake Fri 01-Jan-16 21:29:38

I'm loving this so far!

TheSpottedZebra Fri 01-Jan-16 21:30:42

Really? I think it's awful - so hammy!
Like bad Am. Dram.

HermioneWeasley Fri 01-Jan-16 21:32:14

Mark Gatiss as Mr Creosote!

SpecialistSnowflake Fri 01-Jan-16 21:33:08

There is speculation online that this is all in (present time) Sherlock's head - that he's working out how Moriarty survived...

TeaandHobnobs Fri 01-Jan-16 21:43:07

Certainly seems to be implying that so far...

Baressentials Fri 01-Jan-16 21:45:05

How so? What am I missing?

TheDrsDocMartens Fri 01-Jan-16 21:52:13

I'm enjoying it

Bakeoffcake Fri 01-Jan-16 21:53:22

I'm finding it very, very sloooooooow!

firefly78 Fri 01-Jan-16 21:53:49

its bloody terrifying!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams Fri 01-Jan-16 21:57:43

It reminds me of an episode of Scooby Doo somehow (I think it's the mask aspect).

They'd better solve this, or I'll be having nightmares until 2017!

CaveMum Fri 01-Jan-16 21:58:29

The Bride shot herself in the mouth, just like Moriarty

Sherlock referring to "him" instead of "her" in the mortuary

The "Miss me?" note

I think it's all fabulous grin

Bakeoffcake Fri 01-Jan-16 22:03:38

It is getting better nowgrin

Did they have electric torches in those days? And "the virus in the data"? It must be his imagination, there are too many anachronisms.
