They clearly want the life they have and really love each other... But the chaos in the house gives me anxiety just watching it on tv, let alone being there!

SauvignonBlanche Thu 10-Dec-15 21:10:39

I'm not tempted!

BrandNewAndImproved Thu 10-Dec-15 21:11:03

Oo I'm so glad that's not me, my dc would hate this as well.

Chaos and noise would have me rocking to myself in a corner.

TheSpottedZebra Thu 10-Dec-15 21:11:06

I'm watching it, but I'm firmly of the view that that is too many children, that the adults can't possibly parent them. In fact the young girls have just said that they look after the babies. Do the boys ever say that?

Groovee Thu 10-Dec-15 21:11:21

Take my hat off to them. Follow their FB page X

seasidesally Thu 10-Dec-15 21:14:42

its clear to me the children are sufferring from to many siblings and 5 dogs shock

ive seen a few programmes about them and cant warm to Mrs R

Only1scoop Thu 10-Dec-15 21:14:51

Blimey I don't know how they do it.

They seem a really lovely family though and mum and dad so close.

Only1scoop Thu 10-Dec-15 21:15:41

9 loads of washing a day shock

BlueBananas Thu 10-Dec-15 21:15:45

The house is tidier than I would expect, it looks in a similar state to mine and I only have 3 DC...hmm maybe that says more about me than it does about them blush

Frazzled2207 Thu 10-Dec-15 21:17:01

We have way more clutter than they do and we only have 2hmm

seasidesally Thu 10-Dec-15 21:17:11

i would love to know what their out goings are

can you imagine the food and utilities

Only1scoop Thu 10-Dec-15 21:18:49

I think he said 250 to 300 a week for food.

All home cooked by the looks of it.

Like a military cookhouse smile

MaryPoppinsPenguins Thu 10-Dec-15 21:19:39

Their house isn't just untidy though, it's in a terrible state... All skirting boards and wood is split and drawn on, everything is damaged.

Clearly they love their children, but I think at this point it becomes really detrimental. Can't find a quiet moment, no one on one time with mum or dad, who helps with homework? And aside from that there are the health risks of so many pregnancies, which is really irresponsible when you chance leaving so many children without a mother...

SantasLittleMonkeyButler Thu 10-Dec-15 21:19:43

I'm watching too smile.

I always think Sue & Noel seem so lovely and the children so happy and well presented - and wonder what gives?

They seem to be managing it all very successfully but there has to be something that doesn't get done surely? Or am I just clutching at straws to stop myself feeling crap for having a tattier house with three DCs blush.

MajesticSeaFlapFlap Thu 10-Dec-15 21:20:38

I find the mum creepy.
She seems to completely loose interest once they'Re no longer babies, then she hands them over to the older ones to raise.

seasidesally Thu 10-Dec-15 21:21:10

omg but i suppose when its for 20 people its only £10-15 a wk ish

Girlfriend36 Thu 10-Dec-15 21:22:30

It would be my worse nightmare to have that many kids but then I only have the one dd!!

seasidesally Thu 10-Dec-15 21:24:39

are they Mormons

ImperialBlether Thu 10-Dec-15 21:24:40

Five dogs?!

BrandNewAndImproved Thu 10-Dec-15 21:25:29

I think it's really unfair on the children the more I watch this. What a great life NOT, spend your childhood trying to get some peace and quiet only to have the bigger babies dumped on you cos mums tired and pregnant again.
