I'd love to see Mellie become president once Fitz's term is up. Then he and Olivia can bugger off with their boringness and all the good characters could just run the show.

That said, I have gone off Scandal a lot. The gross torture scenes and boring love stories have really ruined what was a decent political thriller.

We just finished season 4 was a mega bingewatch but its just bonkers now but i love it i have a soft spot for huck (iknow i know) i just feel sorry for him. and yeah Mellie for president shed be fab . I wiill need to wait till its on box set we got rid of sky and missed the start on now tv

I agree with notquitehuman that the show has taken a really odd path with all the violence and b613 storylines. I also really hate fitz and Olivia as a couple. I'll give it a chance but I might ditch it if things don't improve pretty quickly.

I agree with what everyone is saying but I still love it. More fixing I hope. I think if it just stack to fixing the show could go on forever. With this it feels like it's about to shut its doors.

I love scandal. At the end of season 4. Finding it silly, but it's always silly. Don't like Fitz but seems they need him and Olivia to be a couple to keep the central scandal, what could be more scandalous? But the writers have decided the relationship needs to simmer down for a while to build up drama.

I don't like b613 (why oh why is it called such a shit name?) . I really don't like the way Rowan delivers lines. They could do to find a different baddie to fight.

I also don't like Huck (stupid whispery voice), or Abbie (boring and shrill)

Still enjoy it overall.

The Huck and Quinn storyline is so gross. He tortures her, doesn't show any remorse for it, and she's basically forgiven him. Life goes on.

The vast majority of men, especially main love interests, in Shonda Rhimes' shows are horrible people. Fitz is an emotional abuser, Derek Shepherd was too. Dr Burke was an arse, as was Sam Bennett (Private Practice).
