Is anyone watching Tattoo Fixers?

I have no tattoos myself, no plans to get any either. A few of our friends have lots of ink & their work is beautiful. The guy who does their tats is phenomenal (DH taught his missus to drive).

It just makes me wonder how many crap tattoo artists are out there - although a lot seem to have been done while very under the influence on holidays in 'club' spots.

There's a bloke on tonight who has had the tip of his penis tattooed!

I love Tattoo Fixers, the stuff that people come in with is just unbelievable. Then again the stuff they leave with is sometimes just as hilarious, I mean some have a tiny bit of offensive writing and leave with a giant skull taking up their whole leg. I love Jay's eyes, and Louise seems really cool, Sketch is trying a bit too hard to be cool.

The guy with his bellend tatto'd was classic. The way he just whipped it out and told them about how he'd showed people at work, even customers. Can you imagine someone getting his kit out at work?

How would that even come up
In conversation?

'Hello, what's today's special?

'How's that for your starter?'

LOL. He worked in a chippy. It came out, haahaa, when Sketch was tattooing his hips and they started talking about ink and Sketch asked him what's the most painful tatt he had. 'My bellend.' Then he whipped it out! LOL. Jay came over and his eyes got huge.

Love Tattoo Fixers Grin

It proves that there are a lot of mediocre tattoo artists and rather too many studios in European holiday resorts who accept money from pissed up idiots, though.

Yeah, I'm watching it, or a version of it. America's worst Tattoo or something like that.

I just like to laugh at the idiots with their cheap awful tattoo. I agree that they then leave with a bigger tattoo done professionally. Guess what ? It's still a tattoo.

Love this but yes the cover up is usually massive and not always my taste but they seem happy

Always wonder if they have a vague idea of what their new one will be

No way would I trust someone to re ink me without knowing what they will do

I've (sadly) set a series link! There's a new 'fixer' on board isn't there?

Me too Grin

Yeah, Lou Hopper isn't coming back, which is a shame because I liked her. But it was pretty clear that Sketch and Jay had all the rapport, so I'm not really surprised.

I watch the American one - it's truly grim, like the worst bits of American reality TV rolled into one and multiple high fives maaaaan added for good measure Grin. Some truly awful tattoos out there - although they all look pretty hideous to me, some are definitely more hideous than others. Unmissable, awful telly Grin

I love this show! Can't believe how dumb some of these people are ( and confirms all my prejudices about people who get tattoos ) the artists are incredibly non judgemental, considering and v talented.

Jay is so lovely to look at, those eyes and smile! Sigh...

I watched a bit of the American one too. Now I understand why they do comedy reenactions of some of the tattoo stories, because they did it first.

There's a lot more "grown men weeping in gratitude" than the UK version though Grin
