Ok missed the start - what's wrong with Terry?

It's all a bit lame so far, but the kids have insisted we watch it.

Terry is ill. Goid to see Dermot filling in. Agree its lame, but after 35 years i guess they are runnng out of ideas!

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 19:56

Oh okay, shame I like him Blush

My post had so many mistakes! Not sure whats up with TW though.

Buttercup27 · 13/11/2015 19:59

It's not the same without Terry, getting gradually more drunk throughout the evening!

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 20:01

Exactly. Tess and Dermot are so stilted.

This is the first year I've actually been bored watching it.
Anybody would think it's an awards ceremony /this is your life atm !

Elfrescue · 13/11/2015 20:04

Agree not the same without Sir Terry. I have long since thought that Dermot is remote controlled.

The80sweregreat · 13/11/2015 20:06

I do like Dermot but i think this was sprung on him a bit.
He did a danceathon last year for CIN. A whole year gone!

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 20:08

Ok I will forgive dermot. At least Mr Tess wasn't roped in.

It's just a bit lacking for some reason.

So far I'm mostly impressed by how far Bonnie Langford can get her leg in the air!

Does generally seem a bit flat though.

The80sweregreat · 13/11/2015 20:13

Eastenders crew were good, actually smiling. bonnie Langford still got it! Jay scrubs up well..
Yep, no sign of Vernon!

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 20:15

Oh my god it's Orange Andre.

OP posts:
The80sweregreat · 13/11/2015 20:15

Oh no, Peter Andrex is all over it! Was Mysterious Girl his only hit?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 13/11/2015 20:15

I see they've improved the dodgy headline from earlier on the BBC site.

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 20:16

I loved Bonnie Langford so much when I was a kid. She was always on Jim'll Fix It, tap dancing with random kids.

NellysKnickers · 13/11/2015 20:16

The Eastenders cast were fab. Might have to dig out my tap shoes and have a prance around the kitchen. Poor old Terry, Tess is mild irritating but Dermot is lovely. N9 doubt I'll be sobbing soon Grin

Roygrace · 13/11/2015 20:18

I hate bonnie Langford that smile arffggg

DickDewy · 13/11/2015 20:19

I would pay them double to just stop!

For some reason, our dcs are not jaded enough to be irritated by this yet. Tess Daly makes me want to scream and when the news readers start dancing I'll be vomiting. I haven't watched Eastenders since I was a teen, so the only one I recognised was Shane doodah.

I have donated, twice, by the way. I feel the same way about school fetes - pay to opt out!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 13/11/2015 20:21

I like watching the bits about how children are helped, but dislike the celebrity stuff, I'm watching now but would have turned over by now if Terry was on it, I can't stand him. There's a nationwide simultaneous tap dance for it on Sunday which DD and I are doing, looking forward to that.

Marcipex · 13/11/2015 20:22

Choir very good tho.

The80sweregreat · 13/11/2015 20:25

The kids are fab. Its clever how they marry it all up.

it's all a bit meh. I liked Ellie Goulding (even though I know that's not allowed). Tess Daly two nights in a row, the BBC are spoiling us. Hmm

Sparklingbrook · 13/11/2015 20:27

Oh FFS Bruce and Tess.

SouthWestmom · 13/11/2015 20:28

I like the kids bits too actually, much less hideous than comic relief which always seems to showcase the celebs rather then the people.

Is that tess again? Or another tall blonde?
