I'm on S01E03 of 'Suits' not bowled over so far, is it worth persevering?

Bearing in mind:

I don't like a lot of US dramas as they feel too 'slick', e.g. Damages
The characters are really 2-dimensional IMO (but the first series of most shows is the 'warm-up', hence me asking if it's worth sticking with it)

It gets a bit better but most of the characters are really annoying and seem to behave in ways to drive the plot rather than the other way round. DP watches it but I can't stand it any more. Think we're on S2.

Thanks, I watched another episode but it's all to glossy and they're all far too pleased with themselves.
