How much do you think they get paid? My friend says reality tv people don't usually get paid anything. This seems different though. Thanks

Outrageous. That is not minimum or living wage. It will barely buy Dom a bottle of plonk, or Scarlet a spray tan!

They don't do it for a living though do they? I'm surprised they get paid at all, being on the tv and becoming 'semi' famous would be enough for most people.

Steph and Dom and Chris+ other hairdresser cant remember his name have both got other work from it.

I had read that they get something like a £50 fee per week (not sure if that is each or per family/couple) All the programmes get shown to them in one night and they need to change their clothes for every programme they watch. The vicar obviously changes her tea cosy too!

They also receive a take away of their choice.

In series one, they were given food and drink, and £15 per night. For series 2, they got offered set payment for the series - the lowest was £600 for one individual, but the highest was "a few times that, at least".

Funny they have to change clothes. That is the opposite of GBBO where they seem to make them wear the same clothes for both days. Why? We know if is day two. Or is that a lie?

If anyone has ever watched 'Campus' there is a middle-aged transgender character called Grace (see photo) who in one episode wore the same top as one that I have (not the top in the photo). That was at least five years ago and I still wear it.

Campus was absolutely brilliant. I can't understand why they never made more!

I once turned up to work, aged 20 in the same top as one of the older (60ish) women. I didn't mind, as I'd bought it from River Island but she got ribbed for trying to dress like a kid Luckily it was all very friendly.
