Has anybody watched this? It's excellent and one of the best things I've watched on Netflix (and believe me, being off work long term sick I've watched a lot)
Rita is a rebellious single mother secondary school teacher who lives a very chaotic lifestyle. She's sexy, feisty and on first appearance you would think she dislikes her colleagues and pupils but even though she is very unconventional she is actually very compassionate and respected and admired. Her personal life is a complete shambles but you just can't help liking her.
I hope others will watch it and if you like a story with a strong female lead you will definitely enjoy this.
There are 2 (or maybe 3 not sure) seasons on Netflix and it's in Danish with subtitles but please don't let this put you off as it's well worth watching

I can't stand her! I hate her smoking on the school premises and dropping her fags on the ground, she's crude and selfish and gross.

It's probably because in real life (to my detriment) I've always been drawn to these rebellious types
