Mily went to live with her Dad and his parents. Deidre's absence hasn't been explained yet. On Friday she wrote some of the pub quiz questions. I think someone on the other thread said her death on the show is imminent, maybe next week?

firefly yes, Anna, whose burning longing for a child brought her to adopt Faye and then continue with the adoption even as a single parent, has just taken all of 5 seconds to decide to hand Miley over to the other grandparents.

It just isn't in keeping with her character. Well, her character's character iykwim. I would have seen Anna moving heaven and earth to keep that baby under her roof.

Nonsense end to what could have been an okay storyline. Still, as per thread title, Emily probably is relieved .

Corrie specialises at the moment in dragging out rubbish storylines, such as the endless Platt/ Callum saga, and Michael and his flipping heart...
And abruptly ending what could have been good storylines, involving good actors, such as Simon Gregson.

Mary is the only good thing in it at the moment imo. Was that a SATC reference she gave at the Rover's pub quiz? I also like Tim, and Amy.

Yeah, Amy is going to be a little goldmine to them.. She's got a few good story lines coming up. Good little actress. Not like Aldi and Asda, Devs two kids. V wooden. But bit as wooden as Sophie. I always think when a character comes across of hostile and confrontational they can't act any other way. The easiest way to act is being that way. To play a character who is happy, positive and energetic is very difficult.
