So who is going to do well this year? Stan has tough first round match against Kyrios......and Nadal is playing Dolgo I think?

I like Dogs- so it's a shame he is up against Rafa first. And how Stan does will depend on whether he has come down off the cloud he must have been on since RG, and whether Kyrgios serves better than he did there. Stan should do it though.

If you count the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain as exotic, then yes!

My family have a little house out here, in the hills away from the busy Costa. It's lovely & peaceful, but you have to drive everywhere. DH & I are having our first holiday without the DC in 22 years, celebrating our silver wedding anniversary on our own - yesss!! It's been lovely - despite no electricity when we arrived late at night, no hot water since we got here because the immersion heater has blown, and bloody mosquitoes that want to eat me alive. Never had them before at this time of year. Thank goodness I've got . I'm currently drinking my dad's gin, I'm sure he won't mind...

MrsV, I know just how you feel after Wimbledon ends. I also feel as if the summer is over. I feel a bit sad today because last year I went to Queens twice, and got some fab close up pics (which I have unaccountably lost off my phone - gutted). Decided not to go this year as felt a bit guilty about spending the money - but I do wish I was there.
