Pugs has been dumped, clearly, as after weeks of 'It would be nice to see you do something different' yada yada- the single he will record if he wins- is a Whitney song!!

The other single is not the most exciting choice of winning single. And I'm not sure it suits Fleur.

I have to go to the school Christmas fair this afternoon. The joy. And I'm driving so can't even get pissed have a mulled wine or 6.

And Mark Ronson must be thrilled to bits by all this free publicity. MIght backfire on Cowell- Ronson's version of Uptown funk could still be Christmas number one.

Oh, and there are apparently lots of guests- including a special group of novelty guests including WANGER!! Yay! And the return of Stevi, which will make us all wish he had win, as at least he was a bit of a laugh and seemed a nice guy.

i have survived the Christmas fair, and won a bottle of Cava on the bottle tombola. I could save it for Christmas, or i could drink it tonight. it depends how bad tonight gets, I suppose. I'd better not start onthe alcohol too early, or i will end up asleep

They really have turned against Pugsy since the first few weeks. They have made him dull and predictable. He's such a nice bloke- hopefully he won't be too sad when he leaves.

The One Republic song is dire, I'm not a huge fan, but they have had better songs. Of all the songs they could cover, why on earth that? It's not very festive. And has a stupid video with a dog in it symbolising death apparently. Nice.

Is anyone going to actually vote? I haven't for years but I just might vote for Pugsy tonight. I love him! However I can see why Simon is pushing Fleur as she is a proper pop star. Apparently he has said he doesn't know where he could place Pugsy in the current pop market. However sometimes it can be a poisoned chalice to actually win so who knows...?

Frozen- to get items for the bottle tombola, the children have a non-uniform day, and 'bring a bottle'- for years, it was a given that this meant something alcoholic, as there were other stalls with the soft drinks. The last couple of years, people have taken it in a more broad sense of 'bottle' and bubble bath has also featured.

I don't know what was in the bottle tombola at our school fair as it was completely empty by the time we got there (approx 10 minutes after the fair started). I wonder if the Y3&4 parents weren't very generous.
