Meredith is such a cow. This was her get out clause and she pounced on it.
The poor wee baby - although it was probably inevitable that there would be something wrong. Nobody can seem to have a healthy baby if they're a major character in a drama

She was a bitch but he's been holding his choice against her for so long now. She probably wanted to make him leave before he left her. I think he's been awful to her tbh.

Yeah that's what I mean, she wanted him out and this was her chance. Although they didn't do much "working" at their issues

No, I don't think he's left the show. I definitely think the relationship is over (at least for now), because they took such pains to draw that parallel with her mum and Richard's split. I'm glad they've moved on from the two of them fighting though, it was getting tedious.
But yes, poor baby. I imagine they'll make a storyline of the foetus being incompatible with life and the huge dilemma of April being religious and opposed to abortion. But with Jackson pushing for termination to limit suffering. A horrible situation but good TV I suppose.
