Poor Bing! Sula is such a spoilt Golden Child.

DD is just watching Surprise Machine on iplayer, and Sula has got exactly what she wanted - again - and is squealing and shouting "Look!" so she can be congratulated by everyone. Bing gets the one he says from the start that he doesn't want.

In Sparkle Magic, S throws a hissy fit about being the Fairy Queen, and Bing has to join the game on her terms. Then, when he sneezes - not his fault at all; it was the glitter! - Sula is coddled as she criiiiiies her little elephant eyes out. Amma does say all the magic in the world can't hold in a sneeze, but all her sympathy is for Sula.

Bing deals with disappointment very well, but AIBU to think that Bing ought to get a chance to be the lucky one? He can still learn a lesson (sympathy for the less lucky, etc.)...

You're like me: you've watched too many episodes of Bing.

I still can't get my head around the set up though. Where are the parents? Why are all the "carers" knitted small people who do to wear clothes? So many unanswered questions...

It's awful what we go through for the DC, isn't it, diving?!

I think Flop, Amma et al. actually are tge parents/carers, but as idealised by a child. They are toooooo kind and engaged with the "children" to be real!

I am, of course, judging by my own grumpy standards! Wink

Sula is alright. It's Coco who is a right little cow. And why do they let a 4 year old cart her baby brother round all day?
