Apologies if late to the party couldn't see anything so i thought id make one...... just in time for strictly ...

bambinibop Fri 14-Nov-14 20:24:48

I'm watching although seems a lot of people are a bit against it on here. I thought the strictly was good this year I liked seeing the children dance they were fab

Does it make me an awful person that I can't bear the sad stories. I just can't watch them, it hurts physically. I have a 3 year old dd and she is the most precious thing to me.

But I'm afraid I turn over when the stories come on, and these people are so brave to tell their stories.

I do donate though.

Was it me or did the children's choir start flat?!

bambinibop Fri 14-Nov-14 20:36:42

No, I just watched one of the sad stories and I was in tears, since having my dd this year I totally understand when you say it hurts physically. It always upset me but now it's just so much more upsetting. I don't think I'll be able to watch them all I'll just have to bust myself in the kitchen making tea. The thing is they are also quite often very uplifting too if that makes sense.

No, the choir wasn't great shock

ChoochiWoo Fri 14-Nov-14 20:41:42

The choir had me tearing up a bit .. my eyes nearly dropped out when I saw zayn on the one show before. .feeling like a dirty old woman grin

I was looking for a child in need thread. Hurrah!

CaulkheadUpNorth Fri 14-Nov-14 20:45:37

Child?! Children!

CaulkheadUpNorth Fri 14-Nov-14 20:46:42

We've got £150 raised by two girls and a knitted scarf. Anyone got anything like that?!

ChoochiWoo Fri 14-Nov-14 20:48:38

Let ds stay up to watch a bit, regretting it a bit, he going to bed before he goes in the garage wink .... leave the lass alone shes tryna tap dance!!!

stillenacht1 Fri 14-Nov-14 20:49:12

Can't watch it- makes me grieve for my DS2 and his severe autism, makes me feel guilty that there are children and parents dealing with worse situations, makes me feel jealous when I see resources going to those more able than my DS.

I am a horrible woman grin

Figster Fri 14-Nov-14 20:50:16

I was a big boyband junkie as a young girl but seriously all of. 1d are greasy. Looking......i dont get it! And this. Song. Is. Shite!!!

theliverpoolone Fri 14-Nov-14 20:50:58

Tess seems to have cornered the market in cringeworthy presenting with well-past-their time male presenters......her and Terry are toe-curlingly awful.

ChoochiWoo Fri 14-Nov-14 20:51:55

You're not a horrible woman still , my sis has severe asd, my ds1 has mild asd , its under funded hugely

bambinibop Fri 14-Nov-14 20:52:24

Oh bless Terry. I have a soft spot for him my dad used to insist on listening to him every morning throughout my entire childhood smile

bambinibop Fri 14-Nov-14 20:54:03

Fearne cotton next do we think ?!

stillenacht1 Fri 14-Nov-14 20:54:16

Thanks choochi xxsmile

CaulkheadUpNorth Fri 14-Nov-14 20:54:28

Not a horrible woman at all - I grieve for the child/teenage me who didn't get all the help and support that these young people do. That makes me terrible.

Cotton eye joe?!

WireCat Fri 14-Nov-14 20:54:31

My son is also severely autistic still, I know what you mean.
Can't stand Tess.
I do like it even though face to face I wouldn't seem like the sort of person who would like or watch it.
Am I still too old for Harry Styles? wink

Buttercup27 Fri 14-Nov-14 20:55:52

I love Terry on children in need ! Looking forward to Tom and Jerry later.

CaulkheadUpNorth Fri 14-Nov-14 20:56:03

How long has pudsey been dancing?

Tanaqui Fri 14-Nov-14 20:56:07

Fearne looks lovely.

No one is too old for Harry!

meglet Fri 14-Nov-14 20:59:31

You are never too old for Styles. Might be the wrong gender though pah.
